Hmong people have such a tragic history. We were convinced by both sides to hate eachother. The truth is, Hmong families on both sides of the war suffered greatly for other people's war.

My dad was born in vietnam and still have family in vienam! During the Vietnam War, our family was never communist, I asked my older brother, "Were there hmong folks who were communist?" AND FOUGht on THE COMMUNIST SIDE??? He told me that our cousin's family was, and we stayed with them for awhile, pretending that we were communist!!! We still gather at family gatherings now in the U.S.!!! My grandfather and 2 uncles from my dad's side died fighting against the communist!!!! Family will always be family even if they agree with a different side about politics!!! So sad for the one's who rat our their own blood!!!
