I had that exact same car, same year, same color (but with green interior) when I was in high school. It was 25 years old at that time. I bought it from one of my grandfather's friends. It had 46,500 original miles when I bought it. Wish I still had it.
I owned a slightly used 1964 Pontiac Tempest for 16 years, 1966-1982, which looked essentially the same as this car, except I believe that this one is a Tempest Custom! This one has extra chrome & a much nicer interior! I paid $1,500. for it with 20,150 miles on it! I feel that the 1965 Tempest/LeMans/GTO were some of the most beautiful cars ever made!

I had a 65 Tempest it was red with a white top best car I ever owned. Wish I had another one.
My first car was a 65 Tempest Light blue 2 door. The 326 was shot. So I put a 66 389 Tri Power 4 speed in it. Wish I still had it.
'Shifts great - all two speed of it!' With all that torque, I guess you don't need to many ratios.
Le man's maybe
Probably the cleanest Tempest I've ever seen.
Mine is a bit ratty, but so much fun.
Had 10 years and definitely part of the family
How much
Im sorry this Tempest is sold. To see our full current inventory you can go to our website at www.vanguardmotorsales.com!
I like seeing it without all the GTO stuff on it, probably no way to own this & try to separate it from GTO..
