Thanks for the comment! I got a future video coming out where I walk through the track in more detail. It’s a very basic sound actually with my Fender Tele running through Waves GTR amp plug-in and a good amount of reverb.
Hey bro I’m trying to get back into recording but I’m on a budget. Can you maybe do a video featuring some essential free plugins? That would be awesome, thanks.
I’ll definitely look into that. Thanks for the suggestion! In the meantime, a couple great free plugins are OTT, Saturation Knob, Valhalla Supermassive, & Pancake
@@theindiemusiclab Awesome thanks! Yeah I just downloaded Supermassive a couple days ago. Sounds amazing. I’ll check out those other ones too. Hey if I was to spend money on another Valhalla verb plugin, do you think the Vintage Verb is a good all around versatile reverb plug-in? I’d be using it on vox, acoustic, synths, etc. The Supermassive one sounds great but it’s a little over the top for just trying to get some standard vocal reverb sounds. Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance. 🙏🏻
Thank you Marcus, very informative
Great tips brother. I love the automated saturation instead of the volume fader
Appreciate it! Yeah that’s one of my favorite moves :)
@@theindiemusiclab your tips are always a gem. Thanks for sharing!
Fire tutorial! Love ur channel man! would love a tutorial on a 1980s/ chillwave vocal preset. Like washed out or toro y Moi boo boo album🙏🏻🙏🏻
Appreciate the comment! And your request has been noted and written down. Thanks!

amazing video… please show us how you got the guitar tone in this song lol.. I know it’s just a basic indie chorus style but it sounds so good
