i learned about Stratovarius for the first time last year, and for about 2 months, i became immersed in their music (i sang two of their songs at an open mic: Hunting High and Low and Eagleheart). That's a great band out of Finland.
Speaking of "Eagleheart", the band Titanium did one of the best covers i've heard with their version of Eagleheart.
