    On analog gauges you can clock them so all the needles point straight up if all is good, can you do that digitally, just wondering. Cool Dash.

    • @briansshop
      @briansshop  3 года назад +1

      Yes,you could do that. You can also set up normal,low,and peak markers and alerts that will cause the entire gauge face to light up/change color and flash. It really is crazy the amount of flexibility it has. I'll be installing one in my 62 Fairlane for sure.

    You show a 160 mpg speedo. Are able to reconfigure this to say 120 or 100 mph? This would make the dial more detailed. Yes, I know you can add a digital gauge, but I'd like a more realistic gauge. My car won't do 160 driving off a cliff.

    • @briansshop
      @briansshop  4 года назад +2

      Yes,you can scale the gauges any way you want.

      You could wire in those vehicle items,but the dash will not work with the ProFlo for engine info.

    This is awesome man, I like the stock look but this is impressive.Awesome upgrade for sure and way to give tips and tricks. I like the layout at 3:50 mark ( the color and tack/digital seepdo).
    Question....where would you look for a bezel? I’m searching in a lot of spots to try and piece together my ‘93 L’s interior with no luck! I need trim pieces and even a dang set of door panels probably and I may have to go lmc/lmr route and just pay for it. Haven’t seen much on nloc and can’t find anything at salvage yards. I’m not on social media so I may just have to bite the bullet and buy them. Anyways, sorry to go off topic brother, just wondering if you had any info on hunting that stuff.

    how did you set up the fuel level. also can you configure blinkers. Thanks

    • @briansshop
      @briansshop  4 года назад

      The dash can do so many things,it's crazy. Very easy to work through it if you have one and can just play with it until you figure it out. Holley really doesn't tell you much in the manual.
      The fuel gauge uses the stock sender,and you have to scale it in the dash software until you get it reading correctly. Blinkers are easier,the stock wire/feed to the factory in dash light,gets wired to the Pro Dash,and you configure the symbol size/style/color....
      Sorry, I can't get into more detail here. Just not enough room to type it all out.

    • @briansshop

    Hi man, looking a buying this dash. What do you think of the gps speedometer? And are the gauges like rpm responsive enough?

    • @briansshop
      @briansshop  5 месяцев назад

      The GPS speedo works fine for normal driving. It lags behind the actual vehicle speed if you are trying to use speed info when data logging. The gauges are good,you can adjust the sample rate to make them more /less responsive.
      My Fairlane has the smaller 6.8 dash in it and I wired up a speed sensor in the trans so the MPH would be useful when logging.

    • @maartenrink1261
      @maartenrink1261 5 месяцев назад

      @@briansshop ah thanks for the response! How about the sensors? Did you have to convert them to holley types or did you use the oem vehicle sensors?

    • @briansshop
      @briansshop  5 месяцев назад

      @@maartenrink1261 I was using a Holley HP efi system on the truck,so the dash received all of the info through the Holley CanBus. Holley makes a "stand alone" model dash that you can install on any vehicle. It would require that you install sensors for any data that you want to display on the dash.
