Why do people have to fix their satorii ? Its apart of the Korean language. They should have pride in it. I dont get it. Any koreans that can explain ?

Unfortunately it's like that everywhere-- people look down on "countryside" accents as less intelligent etc. Like Southern accent in the US, Cockney in the UK, etc etc It's all bs, the countryside dialects are often the most passionate and satisfying to hear/speak

Not Korean, but I partially attempted a major in linguistics. It’s like this most countries you look at. Accents give a perception of how a person is without having met their personality. Think about it, when you hear a Californian accent, they may sound relaxed and laid back, giving the image of someone who isn’t tense. When you hear a Southern American, you either get the image of a countrysided hospitality driven person or someone with low intelligence. It’s just the image associated with accents based on the general population with that accent some people don’t want others to be perceived as; we can’t do anything about it.
For Koreans, it’s even stronger. Unless you’re strictly doing business in a certain area, not having a Seoul accent sounds like someone who doesn’t make things seriously and isn’t reliable. That’s why many companies require their talents to learn the Seoul accent to blend in with others, but of course there’re exceptions.
There’re countries out there where it’s basically “all accents are valid,” like Norway, but Korea isn’t one of those.

I cannot understand for the love of me why would anyone go out in their pyjama?!!!!!! Like why?????? For comfort? A Jean and a clean shirt will do,and it doesn't take much time ! And sandals when it's raining?!!! In France this is simply not even a possibility....people would look at u like a homeless(never saw homeless in pyjama) or foreigner.....the outfit that you sleep with in your bed are not for outside....its just like a shower,u won't sleep at night with all the sweat and dirt on your skin! Exactly,u can't sleep with clothes that r dirty because u walked outside and god knows what u may touch or splash on ur clothes....its like wearing socks when u work, keep them in the gym, again at home and sleep wearing them....that's 🤮
