    I can't accentuate enough how IMPORTANT THIS is for EVERYTHING concerning to complex patterning. Parametric architecture IS THIS. The manipulation of lists, the data tree and how we deal with the branches defines all the patterns we could think off.
    I can't thank you enough for this. The foundation of Origami, pattern linking, pattern weaving, pattern chain starts here. This makes everything comprehensible and analytical. The path mapper is the holy grail of algorithmic design.

    It has taken me a year to get to this point in your videos but thank you very much!

    Really nice, thanks for this video. Could you explain why when you use {floor(i/100);i%10} you get lines in the y direction?

    hello Daniel! is it possible to make indices go from center outwards?

    • @DanielChristev
      @DanielChristev  4 года назад

      It's certainly possible.. But the path mapper probably wouldn't be too useful for you in that instance.

      Would u mind showing how to? Im very confused...

      @@togosakutaro5882 flick me an email at dchristev@gmail.com with a bit more explanation of what you're trying to do/the exact structure you're after.. I'm sure we can figure something out.

    could this operation possibly be use to generate g code for cnc machine especially 5 axis .say you want to cut a map of the world on circular shape using a waterjet 5 axis cnc or any shape on uneven surface which could be uploaded on a Rhino cad

      +shand seimela you absolutely could. We've done tests with these types of geometries in Rhino CAM which works excellently

      I could but rhino cam is limited to 3 axis cnc ...I need 5 axis
