Taking my daughter to London next year for her 30th Birthday - my 60th and Coombe Abbey would make for a great weekend getaway while we are there. Thank you for making us discover your beautiful country. Lots of love from Montreal, Canada.
Those glass etchings were really unique. Thanks for showcasing such an interesting & beautiful location. Nobody does historic preservation better than the British. Well done!
I want to stay there! Please continue with these type of videos. We tourists would never run across some of these hidden gems. My daughter is applying for University in England, so I plan on visiting frequently! 🙂🙂🙂🙂
Wow it’s so amazing to hear about the history of these old buildings. I can’t believe that in one of the rooms someone was actually murdered there! I love how it feels like you’re transported back to that time and how even in the newer parts you still feel like you’re in the older part of the hotel. The UK has so much history everywhere you go and I can’t wait to go there someday!!! 👏☺️❤️
What an amazing place. I'm bowled over by the fact that it remained in the Craven family for over 300 years! Thanks Joel and Lia for such an interesting tour!
Beautiful tour, it’s amazing how long these buildings have lasted and been maintained. Those etched window panes were amazing, glad you had a nice time! ❤
I’ve read about the gardens around England designed by Capability Brown but I’ve never seen a video like this showing the actual gardens. The Abby was amazing
How lovely to see this, I stayed there for my 60th with close friends and family. We went to the medieval banquet and we all dressed the part. It’s was amazing. We had different rooms and I stayed in one overlooking the entrance to the abbey with a beautiful view all along the driveway leading in. Highly recommend a stay, staff were superb.
We stay there every year for Sage Paracon .Its an Amazing beautiful place ,so much history .All staff from reception, catering ,domicillary ,maintainance were lovely . It is a very special place and we are looking forward to returning in 2023 .
Everything's so pretty there. It must be good to be rich, even if being a monk is the trade-off. Excellent travel-tourism promotion! You made it all seem so tempting.
Wow, that place is really beautiful. I love to see all the detail in the woodwork and how they kept the medieval look in most of it. Especially in the main walking areas. Stunning
I’m so excited! We will be staying there at two different Grand suites next month. I can’t wait! Thanks for this! It inspired me to work even harder for the next few weeks in my business to be able to afford trips like these♥️
You guys should consider a stay at Mapperton House, chosen by some method as Britain's Best Manor... its got a real nice yard with a swimming pool that's like 4 or 6 hundred years old. They have a B&B, run by a very cool couple who are also multi-channel RUclipsrs (collab maybe?), I bet you all would get along fabulously. Julie's from Chicago and Luke's the Viscount Hitchingbrooke.
I love you guys, but I didn’t see a lot of architecture that was medieval; more like Gothic Revival. But I’m glad you enjoyed your stay and shared your experience with us. You’re always a joy
I love how Brits pronounce 'medieval' lol I probably sound so dumb but Americans and Canadians mostly pronounce it like 'midieval' which makes no sense so hearing 'medieval' always sounds so archaic and true to the times
This is more of the Elizabethan period instead of Medieval period. Medieval period, I think of windowless structures because glass was über expensive during that period.

I wnet to a civil partnership in 2006! So much i didn't see. Interesting the reception happened where the murder was!!!
This Hotel looks like it was furnished by a designer on LSD in the 1960's or 70's.
