Wow those came out beautiful! I have some of those molds too and had not thought about them much. I like what you did to them. Perfect. Thanks for making this video. You are a great teacher. You have a natural way of showing things to others.
Could you please leave a link for the dragonfly paint? It’s the only thing I really want to buy but it’s not mentioned in your lists. Thanks for sharing all your hard work & experiments - always fun to watch 👍🏻
Steve! These are beautiful! Its hard to see the amazing results until the very end, you can't even get a picture of what you're thinking, Steve, I admit to having no idea how these pieces were going to turn out, and the layered effect makes it look like some surreal planets floating on metallic lakes. Really knocked it out of the park with that one!!! So tired, returned from a 8 day vacation 😴 😴 💤 😪 😴 💤 😴 Missed my art, in the middle of the most beautiful places, Crested Butte, and had no paper other than printer, no drawing stuff, not even a regular pencil, and well, I'd kill for charcoal and drawing spiral, paper, or anything
I have these molds but haven’t produced anything from them that I was happy with. The textured side always comes out with a dull finish, and they’re too thick for jewelry for my taste. Watching this video gave me a new idea to try though, so there may be hope for them yet!
That is so cool. Try doing layers. Do the first one take it out and paint it, then put it back in face down but in a different orientation, then repeat. See if it creates like as depth.
Absolutely love the blue one the most! Using the paint was a great idea!! Never enough time to try all these, but I have amassed a huge inventory of molds. Lol 😆
You always show me really cool molds that I somehow can't find on Amazon when I'm looking. Your jewelry and things always turn out so beautiful and I wish I could get mine to be as bubble free as yours are lol.
@@SteveMcDonaldArtsandCrafts yes after just about every video I add the molds, resin, or other jewelry findings into my wish list so I can try them out.
Hi Steve. I love this technique. I will be trying this, for I have a lot of things to embellish them with, but do you have to put that glue on them first?
Very cool! You aren’t supposed to touch the flake to the resin because it can burn it. Hope it’s ok I said that. I don’t know want to make it sound like I’m critiquing. I love what you did! ❤️
@@SteveMcDonaldArtsandCrafts it can cause a brown tint in the resin. It can also cause dimples if you’re not careful. I’m not saying you’re not being careful not to cause this, but people need to understand it can.
Oh yes they are so very pretty

Really like the black one.

Those turned out beautiful!! 😍
Those findings are called bales. These look really nice. I got some ring molds the other day. Can’t wait to use them.
They are paddle bails.

They remind me of the jewels the King had round his neck in the original Coming to America film 🤣
I'd be interested in seeing something unique done with the other molds in this set, the concentric water circles.
Nice creation, love it.
So smart. Never would have thought to flip them!! The outcome is amazing!
Beautiful!!!
Thanks as always for great ideas!
Beautiful ❤
Ha ha! I have the exact same nail glitter set! Gotten from Wish. I love that dragonfly paint! That's called a flat backed BAIL.

Hi Steve,
Would you please list those color shifts you used on the top for the added color shift. Those are so cool. Love your channels. Thank You🙂

Fun!
I would love the link to the chains. It hasn't been added as you said xxx

Flat backed bales.
Love jewelry findings.

I got these particular types of molds on aliexpress.
Another great video, Steve can you link the paints, also the chains & bales are missing the links they only have the name in your list👏👏

Hi Steve, instead of painting the pieces after them setting, you can brush the mold with chameleon pigment. Just saying 😁
Over 1000 views in two hours. You, sir, have arrived!
They are called bails 😁
I would’ve domed them after taking them out of the mold the second time…
Are these sunken on the top, or domed? The way the light was hitting they looked sunken. Very pretty though
E6000 doesn't not work, I have tried it and left for a week and the stick on bails still come off, better off gluing with gorilla 5 min epoxy
