The ninjago movie brought some fans to the ninjago TV show. I think after the movie, the tone for me changed. Although it was different, I did not think it was bad. I think legacy was good because it kind of brought it back ( kind of). I think that ninjago is going to be good for a while

I don't think the tone changed directly after the movie released, because sons of garmadon and hunted were probably some of the darkest seasons Ninjago had. I'd say though that it definitely changed when wildbrain was making the series. It became more light hearted and jokey when they took up the reigns
The movie is doodoo frick in my opinion and it also ruined ninjago for me as well. THE NINJA ARE NOT HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS!!!!!!!

I honestly think that Day of the Departed is pretty cool, I like how they brought tons of main villains together.
I was a tv purist but now the new style has grown on me and I restarted enjoying the whole series
After watching this video, I feel that I am a member to only two of the following groups:
-Adult Fans: I was 13 years old when Ninjago began, and it has been a part of my life ever since.
-Shippers: I have been shipping Jay + Nya, Zane + P.I.X.A.L., and Kai + Skylor for years.

I guess I'm a TV purist. While I don't believe it's dead, I don't like the changes the movie caused. Ninjago is a very memory heavy thing for me, maybe the most of anything I've ever watched, played, or interacted with; so the changes won't allow memories that feel the same as those old seasons. It's like Star Wars. I don't like the changes they made with the new movies. They just don't *feel* like Star Wars. I think it's awesome that new people watch the show and enjoy the new seasons. I personally though can't really enjoy them even if I try. It feels so different. I guess the first 7 seasons will always exist to bring back fond memories. Anyway, thanks if you read all this.

Same! I honestly feel though that if they didn't change Lloyd's voice actor/actress, I could've accepted it more. But at least they tried to tie in the changes to the story line. I appreciated that! Like when Cole and Jay were talking about Wu traveling in time could change things and they could look completely different and not even know it.

I/My sister had a Kai mech, now I’m finding random pieces of it in LEGO bins. It was super cool. I wish it didn’t break like almost all of my LEGO sets.

In my opinion, it makes sense that the characters’s looks changed because of season 7 where Kai, Nya and Wu travelled through time with Crux and Acronix. They changed the past drastically, so therefore maybe the ninjas’s changed looks happened because of that.
Yeah Cole even says in season 8: we riddled with time. We could look totally different and not even know it

I'm a mild version of the TV purist, though I don't think its "dead" or any of those other extremes, per se. I still watch it, its still somewhat entertaining, but I prefer the earlier seasons.

I remember when Lloyd became the golden ninja for the first time and the creators mentioned ninjago ending. I stopped watching there because I thought for sure it was the end so I hadn’t watched it for years, then when my little brother started watching it, I watched it with him and was glad I did because I found the new episodes
The rest of the ninja still have their voices from their old series. In Lego Star Wars young aniline sky walker is voice played by Cole

@@melissaetter4364 it died many years ago. Valor morghulis. It means all men must die, just like ninjago must be let go, so it can rest. It had a good run, but the show will get stale soon. Better to end it now, then to let it suffer for three more years
Star Wars Forever not rlly yes the show is getting older but i dont think its rlly the end of ninjago. There’s still so many questions that haven’t been answered plus if they do end the show i hope they end it well not like other series where they leave it on a cliff hanger or unfinished so ye i think it should “suffer” abit longer untill everythings done and complete bye stay safe!!

I would call myself a super fan. Unfortanetly, I cant collect every set, but come on, why could I skip only one single episode? Impossible. I'm a shipper(Jaya forever💙), I do theories, I write fanfictions, I collect the sets(as far as I can do), I am that kind of person that looks in the wikis and everywhere for spoilers.
Well, I have to say that I hate the new desings(nothing can fit the originals!!!)
Zane looks like some sort of psycho type(eventhough he is still my favourite character), Cole and Jay look tired, Kai looks like a baby and Lloyd and Nya are OK. But I love TLNM and I don't think, Ninjago is dead at all. Okay, DotD wasn't the best, but seeing over that, I *LOVE* ninjago.
I am a huge fan. Without Ninjago, my entire life was different. Nothing can stop it.

And then there's me, the dumb kid who religiously watched every episode as they aired until the end of season 2 when I was 7 years old, **who then thought the show ended for whatever reason...**
I just realised the show never ended about a week ago.............
I really wonder what these next 8 seasons will be like when I watch them, especially now that I'm over twice as old as i was when i originally stopped watching the show.

The show was cancelled in season 2, or was supposed to at least. So the 'Final Battle' episode, and the temporary cancelation definitely made sense to make you think it ended.

I’m working on a cool fanfic and I’m also trying to revive the community
I think the one I fit in here the most is The Author. I like to randomly open Google Docs and write stories with random characters I’ve come up with, or insert myself into the story because the world of Ninjago is awesome. I wish I collected sets and stuff. I do have keychain and some sets, but not a lot, and they look really cool. It’s just, LEGOs sometimes don’t stay together very well when you have a young sister or young friends...
Im an og fan, i was there when the pilot episodes came out on dvd in 2011 (when i was, well, eleven). Ive seen every episode and loved every season. My two favourite characters are garmadon and zane (garmadon being my favourite since the beginning, and zane being a favourite since rebooted).

I am most definitely an adult fan. I remember first watching the pilot season of Ninjago when I was 9 years old. I was bored watching Cartoon Network and Ninjago came on and I was automatically hooked to the show. Right now I am 18 years old and I’m currently trying to catch up with Ninjago because I haven’t seen anything since season 8.

I am an adult fan, and also a TV purist. I watched every single episode including the ninjago movie, but after the ninjago movie when I saw that the animation had changed, character design, and voice actors I lost interest in the new seasons. Although I still go back and watch older episodes, its hard watching a series for a long time and then almost the whole story changes on you, and its also hard watching your favorite characters change after growing up watching them. I don't disagree with the new series, I just dislike them.

I can relate, I really hated the reboot I liked the original, but I loved the movie, the movie had a good plot, a thing on its own, and they changed Lloyd's voice, the character design, made the suits more uglier brought freaking garmadon back???? He's supposed to be dead, he made a sacrifice and I guess cuz it's all fiction and they can do whatever they want. I only liked the original Ninjago, not the reboot

I'm a teen fan (someone who watched it when they were much younger, then came back to it later and loves it more than ever). I feel like this is another relatively large group of people.
At first I didnt like movie designes but when they introduced them in TV Show they grew on me.
I just don’t like how Airjitzu and energy dragons are not there. After that I’m ok with almost everything else.
I once asked the question about airjitzu in a comment and someone replied and said that the writers wrote it off but they still make resemblance of it (something like that i dont actually remember but like someone replied to me about this in a comment so its not very reliable)

Unpopular opinion: I absolutely love the movie designs, and I was R E A L L Y excited when they became a thing in the TV show. I love the new seasons, and Lloyd is slowly becoming one of my faves now due to his new appearance. He has grown so much throughout the series!
I myself am an adult fan, I love cartoons, and became more into them since my early teens, I love cartoons even more as an adult.
Not sure if I would be considered a super fan but I watched every single episode and I love most of them. I might also be somewhat of a hopeful believer because most things in the show make me happy, even DOTD!
I have two more ninjago fans:
The harumi fan ninjago fan: likes harumi and appreciates the character for what she is. Wishes she came back into the show but doesn't really care if she does or not, but is excited about any information about her.
The harumi fan harasser ninjago fan: screams at harumi fans because "ShE 'S DeAd" and "sToP hArRaSsInG tHe CrEaToRs" whenever they show appreciation for the character.
I initially hated the movie designs, but I slowly grew towards them. I think the best thing to do is to combine the old and new designs.

1. The Tv Purist: Someone who is content with mediocre entertainment even though there is much better out there
2. The Adult Fan: Often someone who cannot grow up and wastes his time with a series for maximum 10 year olds.
3. The Shipper: Weirdos. These guys are mostly the ones who mess up sites like Deviantart or Wattpad with weird and bad fanfictions, like the Sonic,Fnaf and Undertale fandom. These fanfictions usually make you wish you'd rather watch Twilight.
4. The Hopeful Believer: Someone who thinks everything is good with Ninjago, no matter how bad it is. With these people, it's usually no wonder why the makers don't make effort.
5. The collector: Someone who collects the Lego sets. Perhaps the most pleasant variant of the Ninjago Fan.
6.The author. He is partly connected with the shipper because most of them only write bad fanfictions with the finest grammar, if you understand?
Still, there are some people like DTinaglia Studios who write even better stories than the actual writers of Ninjago.
7.The theorist: People who make all kinds of fan theories, most of them are about the return of old characters. However, almost all theories are wrong at the end of the day.
8. The leaker: Mostly people who want to fool the little kids and do clickbait with titles like: Season 15 Nya Leaked! Often there are revised versions of character images
9. Exactly the same as the leaker.
10. Someone who has no real occupation and is obsessed with a show with Lego figures.
Ninjago is for everyone, there is no maximum.

I would probably say that I'm the adult fan because it's the closest thing that describes me, due to the fact that I've been watching ninjago around the time that it started. I've been watching ninjago since 2014 and I'm still watching now.

For number 1 I used to be like that and didn’t like the movie suits but did like the actual movie and hated how they used the movie suit hoods but I’m actually growing on it and if it wasn’t for the movie ninjago would be completely different and imo maybe not even as good so I like the movie suits they’ve really grown on me.

I'm definitely an adult fan. I've been round since the end phase of the serpentine arc/start of the final batlle and I've loved the show. I've gotten alot of the sets. Took me awhile to get used to the movie designs but I've gotten used to them, even if it took me till the most recent season.

One of my favourite things about Ninjago is that its so comforting.
When i was younger i had a bit of a complicated life but Ninjago was one of the very few things that kept me happy. If i was sad i would always put it on as i felt safe with it and felt as though i was never alone
I shall never forget it and will be apart of the fandom as long as i can be
It played a huge role in my life when i was younger

I mainly fit into the 1st group: The TV Purist. I haven't watched Ninjago probably since sons of garmadon and the main reason why I am a group 1 is because of the lies that were told in 2017 (when the Ninjago movie was released). Fans of the show were told that the movie would not affect the show in any way and that it was 100% separate, which was a promise that was quickly broken.
