Revisiting this. The level of mastery on display here is astonishing. I can’t stop listening to these two records, Jazz Vol. 1 and 2. Volume 2 is my favorite. I’d love on vinyl! Anyway, thanks for being the pinnacle of inspiration. Also, Never sell that ES-150 (except for to me! 😂) In your hands especially, it’s one of the most exquisite sounds on earth. Cheers to this amazing trio!
@@tonimanuel2416 Yes, I think you're right about those, but I don't think his main ride cymbal is a 602. It looks like a Signature traditional but it has a small bell. I don't know.
@@13THEMAS he went to Paiste factory and choose those exact cymbals I named in my former email. He uses 602 thin crashes as multipurpose cymbal.I have just bought one and works very good for low to medium.volumen as rides not forgetting thar they are one of the best crashes ever made along with the new extra thin.
We need more of this trio ... much more.

@@tonimanuel2416 At 36:19 he's talking about a drummer that gave him this one that is "between the SCDR and the flat ride.
