Almost 2 years sober from fent and benzos.
Congrats 🎉 I hear those withdrawals are brutal!
@@kikachuuuu I've been sober for the last 15 + yrs and Yup withdrawals could kill you if u don't seek help from medical professionals related to addiction. Seriously, pain is unbearable and undescribable.
MAJOR RESPECT from a methadone user, and benzo "abuser" (given from prescription, BC of mental illness). I'm terrified of something happening that my drugs will stop coming. It's a worse fear then starving to death.
Congratulations! Hope you continue with your success.
Now that is something to be proud of brother! 🤘👏
12 years sober from cocaine. I looked at myself in the mirror one day, cried, and flushed my coke. Never looked back.. only forward with no drugs
Same, except my rock bottom was my dog attacking me for being strung out it was horrible, flushed my stash and haven’t looked back. Thanks to my baby boy ❤
Proud of you
Did u do it urself or go to AA or rehab. Just curious.

Drugs is bad for you. You should never do them. I learn this from my parents and I only 12 and already know this. Even beers or alcoholl is drug. And also some medicines from a doctor are drugs too.
19 years clean of heroin here. More than grateful to be out of that neverending circle that gets deeper each loop.
4 yrs clean of hard drugs. 5 yrs without smoking a cigarette.
god bless you
You sir, you have my salute!!! Keep it up. Life without drugs is not "easy" meaning you need different ways to keep your mind occupied, but Im sure youve found that purpose.
Nobody cares
Going on 7 years clean and sober recovery is life long..God be with us
God doesn't come and tell you have some coco or have some meth or dont. Stop believing in fairy tales mate.
So great..so free of slavery and full of self belief and freedom ...GO GO AND NEVER STOP ...BELEIVE IN ONESELF ...NEVER BE A SLAVE TO SUBSTANCE AGAIN... BE BRAVE ...LOVE AND GOD AND BLESSINGS AND SELF BELIEF FOR EVER....FREEDOM..
YES! GREAT FOR YOU! Now go be the best you that you can be! Loves hugs n prayers.

This was a good one! I’m a week into my final “detox” It’s been a months long “tapering” for me. From a peak of 400 + mgs of oxy/day and now I’m down to aprox 24 mgs of hydromorph/day and my step off day is two weeks away! For over five months I’ve been “tapering” - every step down has brought days of pain, loose bowels, nausea and anxiety. It’s been going on for months! I’m sooo invested now, I can’t quit quitting ! My dream of freedom from opiates is within reach.
I’m doing a steady diet of these sort of vids to keep me motivated.

I shot Heroin for 20 years. What made me stop was 2 overdoses in the same day, due to Fentanyl in the Heroin. My dealer that I had known for 15 years told me Fentanyl was in the mix and to be careful as he always did. So I did a tester shot that was very small, but it still caused an OD. I left the hospital and did an even smaller shot, maybe 10% of what I usually did, and still it put me out. So I switched to Medical Marijuana and Kratom to get through the withdrawals symptoms that was 15 months ago. For the 1st time in 20 years I don't crave heroin. It feel good now, but it is still weird to me.

No doubt.
When I saw a documentary on Cape town I saw major similarities between cape town and American ghetto life.
The glamorous parts of L.A. are actually in the surrounding cities. The city of Los Angeles itself its very grimey.
The war on drugs was lost a long time ago.
Too many people made careers and fortunes out of it so it'll keep it going on.
The Government Cartel was never going to let "Just Say No" actually accomplish anything, much less law enforcement. Elites make billions off of the lives of the little-people...or should I say make billions off of the DEATHS of the little-people?
On purpose
Never was a war.
War on drug's is a war on the people.

Dethy does give the impression of just coasting along getting other people to take responsibility for her and I must say she does NOT look good, the way she is going she is going to keep on knocking and fame will never answer, but it does not seem to bother her she should wake up and get a life

The real insanity is the dr who got 3 years probation after all he did. Just because he’s a dr they are lenient. Ridiculous
I was shocked at that too!! How much damage did that "doctor" do? What was the cost to society? He lost his license and got free 1 yr rehab somewhere nice, then 3 yrs probation. No one questioned this?
Welcome to USA..
I agree
She said she had to stop because she couldn't afford heroin? Then u clearly weren't addicted because money never stopped any addict I know from getting their fix
Then she was not addicted, because it dont go that way, those Oxycontin pills were 30$ and 40$ a pill on the street, so mom and dad probably said your cut off i am not giving you that much money anymore , people who never said they would touch Heroin are buying it because its cheaper $10 for bag of dope, fentaynol is 10 times stronger more dangerous you only get a small amount in a bag and 1 small bump you might not wake up again.
You’re partially correct. Bc I believe it depends on what’s the particular addict’s drug of choice. Some drugs are ver expensive, but in case of heroin, I think an addict will always be able to come up with enough money one way or another to get his/her fix. She said some other things in there that are dumb, stupid and have nothing to do with the reality and actual life of an addict, from what I’ve seen so many times for so long all around me in actual real life and on the streets, being a guy living in and around people from many different walks of life.
Exactly. I was a heroin addict and the cost was just part of getting it. There's tons of weekend warriors that think they are addicted but in reality they aren't physically hooked yet.
Some people choose to quit and be sick over committing crime and going into prostitution .... it’s the sensible option. If you’ve done heroin, you should know it doesn’t take long at all to get addicted. To suggest she wasn’t hooked is stupid to me. Heroin can make anyone chase it. She’s lucky she had the will power to stop 🛑. I sincerely doubt that she wasn’t addicted. Just wise enough to kick it when her money ran out. Power to her. She made a good decision. Shame she’s still using every other drug 🤦♂️

Most of the heroin addicts that I knew in the 70's and 80's died of AIDS or suicide from the depression. I still take tranquilizer meds for my LSD use in 1968 - 72. Age 70 and going strong. I've been sober since 11/16/16 and I do not miss anything about that life. I can't believe I wasted 21 years being wasted.
It all comes down to what type of person you are. I say to people if your a junky, go be a junky. if your not then straigten up and fly straight. Because I was born the straight and sober type it was easy for me. I'm still alive, with a functional brain at age 70. Most of my so called friends died of AIDS or suicide in the 80's and some overdosed as far back as 1970.
If you don't like people and they annoy you then you can just not go to parties... It's not like you HAVE to go. I agree when you're not drunk or high and around people that are drunk and high it's really hard to communicate with them, but I just stopped hanging out with those people instead of trying to impress them.
If that's how you make your money you HAVE to go and deal w people so yes some of us HAVE to go
Sorry you feel you need to impress others dont be like that. Dr. trying to look for acceptance.
I want to thank Drugs Inc. for using so many of my stock music compositions over the past twenty years. Seriously... thousands of dollars in royalties. Much appreciated.
Nice!!
People who seem to proud of dealing or doing drugs just get on my nerves.
I was in rehab in 1983 and have stayed drug-abuse free since around that time.
It's not an easy journey. People that are using or dealing who don't take the destructive power of addiction seriously need to GROW UP.
People on drugs don’t even care about themself why should the dealer
Happy for you turning your life around, honestly.
But there's no need to project your mindset onto others. You never know what brought someone to drugs or how many times they've tried to quit. Sometimes drugs are a last stop before suicide. Most often though, people are just casual users and never become addicted even with "hard" drugs. Only 1 in 4 heroin users becomes addicted for instance. Still, total abstinence is the only way to avoid ALL risk.
Nice. Congrats on your sobriety. Is there a rehab for attitudes???

My mother helped her prolong her habit and avoid jail, which might have saved her life since she never faced consequences for her behavior.
Enabled her right into the grave for sure. I don't understand it. Jail would be a safe place and a way for her daughter to get clean and have a moment of clarity possibly. This is why I can't get the proper medication that I need for my anxiety. I've taken adderall, and I always have a very bad time. I need xanax, legitemately... and I can't get it because of stuff like this
Or you need to stop believing in a system that creates phantom illnesses that are a complete modern phenomenon in order to keep afloat a multi-billion dollar industry by creating dependant, drug addicts - look up Aaron doughty and his realisations about adhd. This programme is purely propaganda. Look to spirituality - look to getting rid of fear by looking at love which is the strength of your true self 🙏🏻

Hard to believe I survived all of that. Now 18 years clean and sober. Why are so many Americans so prone to addiction? This must be the drug capital of the world, right? The problem must be cultural in nature. We are not physically different from the rest of the world so it has to be the environment we live in. The extreme pressure to be successful in the way media has taught us that we need to be successful. In the process many fall by the wayside. I wish we could define success in a more healthy and sustainable way that doesn't leave so many people feeling like failures. Kind of explains all the mass shootings.

Just go out in the big bad world.. drugs help you escape the torture, called Life.
Drug addiction is the manifestation of instant gratification. Addicts have no comprehension of delayed gratification, which actually creates dopamine, and makes you “happy” for lack of better words. Some homeless became addicts so they can stay awake and protect their stuff while living on the street. Those people have my empathy. Not so much the entitled brats like Dethy with doormats for parents.
I stopped giving to people on the streets a long time ago. The majority of them are either hustlers or drug addicts that choose this lifestyle . There are places they can go to get a ‘meal’. It is those places to which I will donate.

So sad to hear people say that they've been using drugs since they were little. It's even more sad to see the statistics and how they show that children between the age of 12 and 14 have tried crack. I didn't even know what crack was until I was in my 20s.
Wow. That's crazy.

I was 12 years old when I tried my first drug. It was acid. All I was told was, "put this on your tongue and think happy thoughts". I had a nice, strong trip and fell in love with it from that day on. I started smoking pot at 12-13, drinking around the same time, then got into coke when I was 17. My first boyfriend introduced me to heroin close to my 18th birthday and shot me up. Heroin was the love of my life for the next 23 years. It worked like an antidepressant for me. I loved the comfort it gave me. I'm on methadone now but would probably still be doing it if it wasn't 90% fentanyl now. So maybe I was blessed but it's hard for me to see that. I miss it every day.

Drugs probably used PED's to win

yo right on bro for putting up an actual full episode. much appreciated ,much love keep it up
National Geographic puts a lot of full episodes and documentaries on their youtube. Some arguably better than what I pay for on Netflix imo
The dude in the hillside tent is happy. Amazing what clarity you get when stripping things down to bare essence. I'm considering joining the minimalisme movement.
The Hollywood Hills are powerful. Haunted, nurturing. I lived in Runyon Canyon Park for several months in 1993. Sitting on a hilltop watching the full moon rise over the L.A. Basin with Hollywood in the foreground and downtown L.A. in the distance.
@@myoldvhstapes we are so oldddddd. I lived out there also in 92 -96 on hw Blvd. Behind Chinese theater. In valley. North Hollywood across from universal and old Pasadena, talk about hauting. Back then it was funny cuz we would have the local hw glam bands over for huge party and most of us stayed awake with PEPSI and when the parade came by they would see what could only look like a crime scene lol . My cousin overdosed in California on drugs saddest thing he got swept into addiction
I’m so sorry for your loss 💔 addiction robs us of beautiful people who get caught up and trapped in that cycle of suffering.
The most perfect LA hipster quote of the universe: "Partying is soooooooo hard." I couldn't get past 3:05. I left there after 20 years to escape people like this.
Haha it is though, like on the body, and if you're doing that routinely every week. If that's what she meant I get that. She looked hella tired. She should jus chill at the beach, and drink smoothies, and swim in the ocean. I'm born and raised there, literally in Hollywood California. Are you saying you left LA 20 years ago?
Yeah...it’s hard for her cuz she’s probably meeting up with dudes she doesn’t like just so she can get high so she can be able to handle hanging with the dudes she doesn’t like just so she can get high so she can hang with dude she doesn’t like just so she can get high some more so she can handle hanging out with dudes she doesn’t like...see where this is going.
I couldn’t stand her at the beginning but I kept watching anyway, interesting documentary.

...but can't focus on getting a job 🤣
Then putting it back together to take it apart again and on and on.
And after 3 days and innumerable how to videos, you can't put it back together and have to toss it, buy a new one, and repeat the process 3 days later.
Correction: adderall is not an anti-depressant. Its a stimulant.
RIGHT!!!
It’s also an anti depressant. Works better than all the anti depressants on the market today. Serotonin has zero to do with depression as is now out in the open.
Can u explain the difference thank you
I assume shows like this have people who look through the script yet no one seemed to catch that very obvious mistake. Adderall has always been an ADD drug nothing else.
@@christianmathison1182 It did make me some happy when I was on it. But the long term affects i don't enjoy.
So evidently the word "Party" doesn't just mean " to have a good time", but now specifically means to get high...
Hence the way she said "I can party several times a day".
"Party" is just a nice way of saying "doing drugs" because nobody wants that reality killing their buzz.
She must be fairly new to the game. Most junkies just say "get high", and are not concerned with that reality killing their buzz..They are already firmly rooted in that reality and accept it for what it is.
i literally have every season thats available on youtube you guys need to make a new seasons especially since the drug trade has changed so much now.

they should do one about china and the synthetic drug trade, not just hallucinogenic drugs but anxiety medication, blood pressure medication etc.. they produce most of the U.S drugs we have here, including vaccines.

The "war on drugs" was against ourselves. As very sad as this was to watch, would be interesting to have an update on the three main characters, how they are now.
I'm a former undercover narcotics detective. I worked for a federal multi jurisdictional task force. The " war on drugs " was/is one of the biggest failures of this country. I dont have all the answers, but what I do know is we can't arrest our way out of addiction.
Trillions in taxes spent to make taxpayer lives worse. It's almost funny how bad we're all getting screwed.

I'm a Canuck, hard to watch, being a rehabilitated addict. Good doc.
Wish they would quit throwing cannabis in on the "street drugs" and calling or labeling them drug addicts.
Indeed! Cigs and alcohol are legal and much more harmful then pot.
but if you abuse it, you are a drug addict. My friends dad only smokes, after years of smoking he is a paranoid mess. It isn't as innocent as it is marketed to be. It alters you , like any other drug would.
@@casey98 What's considered "abusing" it? Who decides what is that line? how many times a day? A week? Only on the weekends? Who or how is that considered when saying that" people are abusing it? It is legal to walk into a dispensary to buy it in many states, California being one of them. I gave up a Ativan prescription that a Dr prescribed for me for cptsd and I got badly addicted to them for many years and quit drinking and switched to cannabis 8 years ago and have never looked back. My point being is cannabis isn't for everyone but it's much more likely not to cause extreme crazy behavior. Alcohol is way worse in that regard. The police need to worry about the much harder drugs than cannabis like fentanyl!
@@rattlesnake3113 abusing it is when u use it but dont need it
@@casey98 ya for some select people it's an issue pot but let's be practical here. When we compare pot and it's cons, it which i mean pot, compared to all the other illegal and legal drugs of abuse we have much bigger fishes to fry.

The girl who lives in her parent's pool house is just a spoiled upper middle class over grown child. Some will argue she'd still do it if they turned her to the street, and they are probably correct. However, it was her parent's responsibility to look after her when she was a child.
