The fact that he’s like “im exhausted by the time I get back from work” meanwhile the mom working TWO FULL TIME JOBS at the same time all day also being 24 years old
IKR !?!! SERIOUSLY
@@rachaelschroll7705h4
Exactly, my partner is off at the moment & im working & we are still both doing it together
I love how men think b/c they work physically demanding jobs, that lets them off the hook when it comes to parenting responsibilities. The reality is if you don’t want to be an active parent, don’t have kids. PERIOD.
Looking after kids all day, especially toddlers, is also physically demanding (not to mention emotionally stressful).
@@sarahsnoweFr
What they don't realise is how physically demanding and emotionally taxing looking after kids is!!!
Why did you have kids
It isn't just men, it's anybody. Women can work hard as well 😅.
"I'm a lawn care technician". You mow the grass, mate.
LOL this made me howl
And he breathes hard after due to his personal physique 😂
Aka gardener lol
fr technician he says 😂😂😂😂
I know right. When he said that my eyes rolled so far back they stuck lol
Oh my goshhhh the thing that killed me the most is when he said “I work hard, it’s my break time to sit on the couch and not have to deal with life” … as if life just stops the second he gets home. As if mowing the lawn is his life and once he gets home, his wife and kids aren’t a part of it. OOF. Jo way too easy on him…
He should've never even had kids if he craves his "break time" he had the breaks when he didn't have kids yet
I don’t agree the mom is not lazy. She needs help with child care and discipline. She’s working, cleaning, cooking, all day long. When dad comes home he sits on the couch and doesn’t help - that’s LAZY!
Actually, I think Jo said they were lazy parents. Mom wasn't lazy about housework, but she was slacking on the job of parenting. But dad was definitely making excuses for why he didn't need to interact with his kids. I think she should have called him out way more cause he didn't even try and thought his job earned him the right to sit on the couch the rest of the day!
For him to compare his job to his wife’s.. when they don’t even compare. Her job is also physically demanding. She watches her kids and works from home, on top of cooking dinner, doing laundry, taking kids to and from school, cleaning, paying the bills and buying groceries. She’s clearly the default parent too, my goodness the fact that she’s gone on like that for that long is sad.. his break time.. with what about his wife’s break!? he’s a husband and father and should’ve stepped up when they had their first child.. my goodness.
“I’m a little uneasy about having to pick the kids up,” Dad says. I think Dad is upset that his free ride is over.
Pap😭😭😭😭😭😭😭🤯🤯🤯😊
When children aren’t getting any attention, negative attention is just as good as positive attention
Negative attention is still attention
That's the common thread I see in almost every super nanny. Parents ignoring their kids and not giving them the attention they really need 😢
That's what I NEVER UNDERSTOOD about the human psyche. If u don't get attention from someone the last thing I would do is act up to make my mom yell at me. If u get negative stimuli from doing something why continue that same action?
@@Akins560Because there’s a snapping point where some kids don’t care anymore as long as they feel like they actually exist to their parents. You’ll notice in these shows that the more well-behaved kids tend to get ignored and end up suffering in silence. Maybe you didn’t reach that breaking point?
TRUTH
This show is my birth control 😂
actually helped me come to terms with my choice of... actually getting kids😂. I thought even if I'm in the sh** I will ALWAYS find help somewhere nowadays.
😂😂😂😂
LAAAAAAAYZEEEEEEE

lol!!
Mom needs to really think about whether she really wants another child with this man. Sometimes, love just ain't enough.
And some people think they want children when what they really want is pets.
Learn responsibilities with pets first - absolutely.
Oh that poor man - he’s so tired and she’s not?
@@susansage7218 or, with pets only.
They divorced
@heyokaempath5802 Mom can't handle the children she has and wants more? 😳 Especially with dad being uninvolved, and her obsession with cleaning house. Parents need to discipline their own language and actions. Kids' language and behavior so bad visitors won't stay for fear their kids will copy them.
I wonder if the parents gave up on Jo's guidance, things fell apart, and they divorced? 🤷♀️
single mom with 4 kids more like it 🤣
Then it turned into 5. They had another kid. She ended up divorcing him though.
@@QueenofFlannelColorsatleast they divorced but not after having another child 😢
Mowing grass is NOT even comparable to raising 3 whole separate human beings to be happy and healthy.
That babysitter was quite literally fighting for her life, that poor girl
I feel bad for her 😢
I don't think they acomplished any thing.
Should have left dad with the kids and had him do dinner & baths...
Oh I would have called those parents! I would not have put up with that child not for one minute! 😡
she better have gotten doub;e the pay for all that. she was literally sweating and crying!
Brandy said what I was thinking...kids raising kids...so glad they reached out for the help they needed, and Jojo took on the challenge! ❤
My fiancé works in lawncare and has some options about this man that I can’t say without getting another strike, but it amounts to “leave him”

@@Djevan41598 the supernanny wiki more then likely
I think he won't. He doesn't want to be bothered with his kids and just wants to enjoy himself.
If BOTH parents work, and these days you pretty much HAVE to, then all responsibilities need to be shared. End of story. Doesn't matter what type of work either one does, it's exhausting either way. Honestly I give you guys credit raising more than one at the same time and similar age. I was exhausted watching that poor mom.
This was my husband, we had 5 kids, all grown up now. Our kids weren't perfect but they were disciplined. I just didn't tolerate it. Any child whining went to naptime. Period.
My husband has recently apologized to me for his lack of support with the children, the house, the running of our home. I was diagnosed with lupus while they were still young and it wore me down.
This poor Doyle mom is not supported by their dad, and her husband. Yeah, I get he's tired...but so is mom. It's just sad.
My son tried whining exactly ONCE. I said I didn’t hear whining and I just ignored it.
My dad works night shifts so when he comes home he has to sleep. that NEVER stopped him from playing, wrestling, taking us places. never.
Mom cleans so much because she feels successfully after cleaning. She is able to have control over the cleaning. Kids she isn’t in control so cleaning is easier. It’s so easy to fall into these behaviors and not know how to get it back. So sad
It scared me when Lizzie pushed Andrew onto the fireplace, it almost made me cry 😢
Yes they did not discipline her enough for that! She didn't learn her lesson at all.
Ok i love Supernanny but i think when she sat parents down at the 12:00 mark she was mainly telling the mom what she did or didn't do right and not even once say specific things to dad. When she mentioned laziness is one of the issues and then calling out mom but what about him.. it seems like the mom is clearly overwhelmed and doing most of everything.
Exactly! I didn’t understand why he wasn’t being told what he did wrong.
I was also waiting for Jo to rake dad across the coals. But it didn’t happen 😶
Remember it’s highly edited
It's the Uva family. This isn't the full episode
I mean she was telling brandy what she was doing wrong but the mans literally did nothing
Around the 9 minute mark the girls are within inches of Dad's boots that he wore while spraying lawn chemicals. I won't even get into how disgusting it is that he's putting his feet on the couch while wearing his boots
Completely correct. Very gross and dangerous.
Look again. Those boots were brand new. Bought for the show.
Don’t have kids, never really wanted kids, but I’m still utterly addicted to this show!
Me too same here. I DON’T want any children ever
I just love watching train wreck families of parents who really shouldn't have had kids but were probably forced to
Supernanny starting each episode with “I’m on my way!” while simultaneously clutching the “oh sh*t handle” is so beautifully symbolic.
Painful to think how many families suffer and have for centuries, like this - with immature parenting. These episodes reveal lonely children too. Jo certainly has her angel wings by now.
I think she was too hard on the mom and not hard enough on the dad!
I totally agree😮
Agreed
Has more faith in the mom then the dad XD
Because her expectations for the dad are lower, she knows the mom seems to have more potential.
As she tends to be. Internalised sexism is real.
Edit: the two comments before mine 😂 no wonder birth rates are declining.
That poor babysitter. 😢
Yeah 😢
When that baby slapped her dad in the face I almost cheered 😒
Nah. I mean the dad sucks but there’s nothing cute about bratty kids.
His poor cardiovascular health is not her responsibility 😂 if you choose to have kids, you take care of them. No matter your job or genitalia 🤡
It’s absolute BS, My dad was paraplegic, but he always did everything he could to help parent.
When they were having company, I wonder if one of them could have removed the girls and taken them upstairs for discipline, rather than have their friends witness everything.
mom cleans to work out her anxiety1
I’m also 24… half the time I don’t know where my cat is.
The lack of respect that this bloke has for his wife is outstanding. I hope for her sake they're divorced now.
They are divorced.
@@purplequeen1727and he remarried which is shocking.
In so many of these episodes Jo says, “She’s not enjoying motherhood.” Most of these families have 3-4 kids. Why keep having little monsters when you’re not happy? I don’t get it. 🤷🏻♀️
That poor, poor babysitter 😢. I'm so happy for this families growth❤
Sometimes parents lack the skills to raise children. This couple reached out for help. Most importantly, they made changes in themselves to be good parents and the right kind of role model for their children.
Lizzie is horrible! No remorse for being so violent with everyone even after discipline. I don't think that saying "sorry" without meaning it should be accepted.
Took me 3 minutes to realize he’s a narcissist.
Right?
How did she not divorce him💀💀
She did apparently

I appreciated the lesson on when the naughty chair was necessary and when it wasn't since I also tend to take things very literally at face value !
They both gave up on those poor kids. Mum buried herself in cleaning to make herself feel better while the dad explained away his entitlement to sit on the couch. My heart broke when those kids kept trying to get their dad too play with them when he got back. He was their last hope for an afternoon on of fun after watching their mum clean all day.
The parents aren’t much more mature than the children.
Babies raising babies 😂
They would have only been 19/20 when the first child was born.
They learned the language from their parents! Why would they be surprised?
True
Or at daycare from other children.
Why did they check out dad? Was his behavior so bad they couldn't show it? He wasn't in the last half of the show. He hade the most to improve, totally checked out on his sofa thinking his work was hard. Wonder why? R e a l l y wonder why he didn't appear in the last half?!
Cuz he aint there
@@ineedhoez I wonder why he's not there? Not at home - as in leaving the family/ filming/ ...not all there... / other?
has he ever worked on high stress leases? i prefer yardwork lmao
Dad needs to be Dad!!!
"I don't know where it went wrong?" Maybe when you didn't use protection?
Parents probably blackmailed them into having grandkids somehow
It didn't start going right... they never started discipline lol.
The little 5 year old with the pixie cut reminds me of Alice Cullen from Twilight, shes so cute im gonna cry 😭😭
'Lawn Care Technician' ? Gardener love & very lazy man child🤦 Good luck, hope you both grow up soon. Bless you all x
I actually feel bad for that poor baby sitter.
Did they not have cell phones then. Babysitter could have called the parents and told them to get home now because of Lizzy is being the worst kid ever.
@@dianerathgeber1526 she called Jo which is why she cut their date short
I mean, you can’t blame the 20 month old kid they’re just learning super basic things
Jo showed the dad how to spend time with his kids while sitting down after his physically demanding job.
Where did the little kids learn the swear words ?
It happens really easily, actually, as someone who works with kids. Most toddlers know swears
Come on, guys, like her videos!❤️ She definitely deserves it for her commitment to healthy family development. Kids today will be the future. Let's teach them values of life with patience, love and understanding . Raise them strong and confident to not crumble over mundane things. The meek is getting ready for change.
Totally agree! People watch but don’t even like 👍
Jo never tells parents that those 2 hour discipline bonanzas get shorter and shorter. The behavior will stop and disappear.

I could really resonate with this young mom I saw myself 18 years ago fortunately, I bought Supernanny’s book and her techniques most certainly work when applied. ❤
This Dad makes me want to scream!!!
My partner literally builds houses everyday n still helps out tons
Must be nice to be able to clock out and sit on the couch and not do anything. If he just wanted to sit and chill after work then maybe he should have thought about that before bringing kids into this world.
You can be physically exhausted but also mentally. The father just uses that as an excuse. Your wife did not only print the report she made that!
Honestly if you both work than you should both take care of the kids. Not just one parent who has to take care of everything else.
And the smile he has when he said that about the printing the report. He's just smug. Lazy.

The part where Sara was literally banished from her own bed *by her own mother* was absolutely ludacris. It's *Sara's* bed and the her friends got to play it while she got banished to playing on the floor in her *own room?* Excusez-moi?
Oh no not the computer I feel bad for the computer more than I do for the parents 😂😂😂
This guy I work full time 2nd shift 4:30pm to 1am Monday to Friday and still get up to take care of my 3 and 8-month-old
I’m not saying people don’t get tired and go on anyway, but if you’re so tired you can’t be bothered with your kids then don’t have any
I'm a little confused why Supernanny is on the date with the parents, instead of staying behind with the babysitter and the kids? She could have been there to enforce the rules while Mom and Dad are out and so that the babysitter could also see what kind of rules are in place and how to handle them, as well as teaching the kids that the rules apply even if Mom and Dad aren't home!
Does anybody know if this couple are still married? Did these kids turn out fine?
