FYI, you know the jumping fish? When you catch them, take them to the shore and let them sit on the bank for 5 minutes. This is called “drying” and you will receive triple dots nutrition
Hey heyyyy, welcome to the Isle man. Yeah dieno vs dieno is mainly what you will have now with the new gateway map. It's kinda sad, because on the older map spiro, dienos would work together more to bring down like stegos and big shit but now everyone just cannibalize each other because there is a lot less good hunting spots. My hope is as more dinos come out you won't need to cannibalize for S-nutrients as dieno to grow decent... P.S. I grown about 15-18 100% dienos, with 3 alive each on different servers, with 0 cannibalism on a single one, I'm still holding my oath and will not become one. Only already dead dineos, never killed and ate another dieno unless they attacked me first.
Thanks man, hoping to get more player interaction in my next life. Just can’t figure out what to choose with so many cool options. Pachy is my fav Dino but unfortunately I haven’t found anyone else to herd with.
hi man! first of all welcome to Evrima, and welcome among us fellow deinos. i would like to point out that on Gateway, this map you are playing on, we are struggling. It is hard to find good hunting spots for us, plenty of bridges and safe crossings on rivers, and not much life in these waters except for other deinos, and that's why cannibalism is so dominant recently.. Migrations, don't mean much for us, they are just telling you which herbivor migration active is the closest to you, you can go there, hoping to find herbis that are feeding there, or at least get closer to it, in river crossings and drinking spots, but migrations are not granting food for carnivores, only increasing the chances of finding preys.. keep up the good work !
@@IAmSolTheBull you're welcome :) keep in mind that Migrations are a new mechanic that came out with Gateway map, so it's all in the making and subject to change. also..devs are working on AI dinos, which they probably will spawn more often around migration zones, so in the future will be useful going there for that reason too. problem here is being an aquatic dino like Deino, if you are gonna use a land carni later on, I highly suggest you to go to migration zones to find land herbi players.. ;)
Sometimes when I'm fighting I don't know why, I'm not scared or anything but for some reason a huge dose of adrenaline hits me that my hands start to shake so badly I can't even press WASD to move 😂 why is that ps: I've checked your channel and it's cool that The Isle from all things made your channel debut
I get the same thing and never found a true answer but I've just summed it down to partly subconscious fear excitement and dopamine rush in general but what I wanna know is after the altercation why does it take so long for my body and fingers to calm down
Holding right click lets you keep hold of your target. Once you release right click, you let go of them. So, grabbing dino's off land, keep holding right click, and dive down to drown them (costs stamina over time). If it takes too long, drag them down, release and bite :)
I honestly don’t like to cannibalize but ever since gateway I have not had much of a choice I do my best to find already killed bodies to eat instead of killing peoples really hard work
Yeah, I didn’t really realize the length it took to grow Deino at the start. I would’ve been going for protein a bit more if I had known but I at least learned how to get carbs from decomposing fish once I reached the swamps. This 13 hour life was for sure a learning experience but now I know these things and will do better in the future!
Herrera is one of the most fun to play imo, coming from someone who mains deino usually. Way more ambush opportunities, and people will never be looking up
The river delta isn't very popular on official servers (different story on unofficial servers), if you want more player interaction you need to go to the hotspots. The river around south plains, the water access lake, the highlands lake, the lake in north east plains. Just know you'll be competing with other deino's in those spots.
Haha, I can hear my heartbeat right now lol. Dude, How many times ive thought the same thing. Playing Dieno can really cost you not just time but anxiety lol. Got my sub yo
bro can u play in next video as herrera or pachy? herrera can climb trees and also attack from them, giving huge damage and bleed. Pachy can break legs, body and head and fun to cos
Thank you! I don’t think I was ever able to successfully pull it off and I didn’t realize you can’t get organs from AI. This video was probably a painful watch for most of the experienced players but we all start with learning!
crocs live on average 50-70 years so deino prob lived for maybe more than 100 OR 30 and below... giant squids, sea tortoise and that strange jellyfish live the longest, according to my knowledge that jellyfish is virtually cannot die of old age, longest lifespan beside that is 500 years
I had like an hour on the game by the time I swapped to Deino…I think First time playing is pretty apt title. I still knew nothing about game mechanics.

Another Deino taught me this near the end of the video but thanks for the info still!
Update: see. At the end of the video you learned about it lol
I play quite a bit, if you’re down to grow and play together sometime, hit me up
@IAmSolTheBull do you have to pay to get the dinos

New gateway map? It was worse in evirma
Spiro was way worse for deino gameplay tho
>Deinosuchus players when they can't sit in a massive hug circle at the only real water source and actually have to play the game
@@tsusmildrides4937 little late bud sorry.
Bro why did I watch all of this LOL. Anyways good video dude ill support you
Thanks so much man!
i never thought i would larn something watching a Evrima video ... Thanks for that!
Thanks for watching! Glad you learned something!
You handled everything very well, nice video.
And welcome to Evrima

Omg thank you so much for the explanation on migrations for carnivores. I totally thought it meant a higher chance for AI to spawn.

That last pond. It does spawn AI, both schooling fish and elite. Dinos do come there for a drink and its a hot spot for herreras to kill at

I was trying really hard not to at the start but you just get forced to at a certain point; especially when AI doesn’t spawn for an hour.
@@IAmSolTheBull yeah
10:05 probably alr know but without diet the growth tiimes goes from around 5 hours to 10+ hours.....

Don’t feel bad for cannibalism (in game)
its not really your first time playin if uve played as a pachy... a few days ago i couldve made a more authentic video.. Xd

I'll be honest. Deino is one of the many "meta" dinos that if you don't play it you get to enjoy just being stomped by them.
