Glad I ran across your channel. Your videos from about this time frame capture almost exactly where I'm at right now with kite boarding. I like being able to see what is happening with your board and kite. I've almost got water starts figured out and can ride just fine as a regular foot, and can almost ride ok goofy.Transitions are what I'm starting to mentally prepare for. I had a trip last fall to Cocoa Beach and got to kite at the 520 Slick with Good Breeze guys...was a great experience.
Barry Monteiro I find it’s a coordinated maneuver where you slide your back foot forward as you move the kite over or down loop . Lots of practice I must say👍
Senix, I had after some practice a few runs like this and was so happy with it! My son of 14 had the same; such a great feeling! Doing this for a few hours is intense at the beginning, it does wear you out 😅. Question; I went too fast sometimes that I was almost loosing control.. what do you do then? Any tips?
I'm sure you've got it all figured out by now, so this reply is for anyone else just getting to their feet and going too fast and feeling out of control - move the kite higher in the sky, more towards the 12 - that way it isn't accelerating you sideways. That's also the way to slow down and stop - move the kite to 12, sit in the water, reset and waterstart back in the other direction.

I enjoyed the journey to get to where I’m at. I watch a lot of RUclips also. Enjoy the ride👍
Nice! At .56 mark you transition direction of your board. It happens so smoothly you miss it if you blink! 👍

Had one lesson and it seems like a very difficult sport to be confident with the kite. Looks awesome
Yes I agree with what you said. Just continue with lessons and it will all come together . Just think back to something you learned.👍
Yeah it gets much easier with time

I am glad to hear you and your son are enjoying this sport. It can be very intense at times. Just make sure you take breaks.
