Hello, I am configuring the size of monofilament I am going to use and I see that it reaches 25mm, I am going to use 40mm. Is there a way to get it to that size? Thanks Hernan
Is the line weight for actual test weight or equivalent size? For example I'm running 20# braid which has an equivalent diameter to 6# mono. There isn't an option to select braid or mono.
Cool concept but I wouldn’t use it you pull line from the reel to the first guide a multiply it by 2 and that tells u how deep you are if your dropping it straight down
Line pulls is an old method of counting example go 10 pulls. All guides that fish clients have gone to line counter reels. More accurate and easy for novice clients. We went to all line counters and works really well trolling for salmon. We also anchor fish river for Steelhead. We would put a plug out till it hits bottom and reel in till just off bottom. Check line counter number. Next time let line out use the number.
@@Askeyb2011 well old old method and it works pretty accurate to how you bottom rig for stripers you see a school of stripers on your fish for striper you do your line pull you can see your bait on them striper on your graph every one does it different you run business you got easy as possible for your customers but I still like throw my anchor ropes out and cut bait fish

So I order this reel. I'm using 50 lb braid line. It only goes to 25 lb. The braid line is equivalent to 12 lb diameter. So do I use that? Then there is a lever on right. Have no idea what it does. I found the clicker. I got the Maxtoro DLC because I planned to use on a 10 1/2 foot trolling rod for salmon. Not sure about this and thinking returning order.
Hi Bob, thanks for your message. The Flipping switch you speak of, the lever on the right, is designed to let line out quickly and easily for trolling applications. Turn the switch on, and you can depress the thumb bar to release line - once you release the thumb bar, the spool engages automatically - without having to turn the handle. This feature is amazing for trolling - when a fish strikes, but doesn't hook up - you can let out some line to "pause" the bait, often resulting in that same fish to strike.
I spooled before counting my line. What do I do? Also is this reel good for bass fishing?
The MAX DLC is designed for trolling, it is not designed for casting. All you need to do is turn it on, and start fishing.

What works for you is all that matters
Hello. this function is it the same like in salty style dlc...?
what autonomy does the battery have
Depending on how much the reel is used, will determine how long the battery will last. We suggest removing the cell during the offseason!
from vietnam
How do you adjust the brake ?
Hi Nathan, the MAX DLC does not include a casting brake, it is designed for trolling.
