Keep it up brother💪🏻I struggled last year with almost 0 gigs. It felt like noone even wants to work with me for no reason at all. I kept trying and It finally took off last couple months when a deligated all the negotiating, paper work and etc stuff I really don’t like to do. Sad part is that 90% of work is vertical now 😭🤷

I just wanted to let everyone who's been supporting this that I'm coming back to RUclips after trying Instagram. After trying to make an edit for Instagram everything was just way too frantic and felt like it had to be optimized for "content." I don't think I've done the best job in telling stories with this series just yet, but I do feel like it resonates with people and that's something RUclips does far better than Instagram in my opinion. So I will see you guys with a new vlog Friday morning!!

Is it worth it to offer to work for free?

Personally, I really dislike doing free work. My first few internships were free and they really didn't get me anywhere - and one of those was with Complex Magazine!! With that said, in this instance I really do feel like I'm getting something out of the work and would be a fair trade. I would ask for a tag on the person's page which I know sounds not like much, but gives some legitimacy to my work. From there I would contact peers of that person and offer services and packages.
