Wow.wow.wow. This is the most amazing, informative, helpful, and educational video that I have ever seen in my f****life. The quality and presentation are incredible. Thumbs up to you guys. Keep up the wonderful job. God bless. I will definitely hit the like button and subscribe your channel. God bless you again.
These are awesome! Truly engineering (and animated software) marvels of wonder. Just so impressed (and thankful). Continued success. How does one explore a career in all of this? Thanks in advance. Canuck.
Nice video but I believe you made a mistake about the stator as it will only turn in lock up mode otherwise as long as turbine is slower than impeller it will be locked
Thanks for you all for this video, please I am automobile mechanical engineer. My question is how can I really known the real symptoms, or when torque converter is having problems or bad Thank you.
Sir good day do you have idia to the torque converter of heavy equipment like wheel loader and crane using torque converter for travel purposes thanks and more power to your channel
This is okay. But, for the best video try Eric the car guy's video on "How does a torque converter work." Awesome explanation using an actual TC, each part and how they interact. Utterly demystifies the TC.
This is great job brother, but i have a 1998 sienna van which when i put the gear on drive it will not move until i raise it severally before it will drive , could this be that the Torque is faulty, fluid or what could be the problem . please .
So you mean that whenever you put the gear selector into D it doesn't go into gear unless you raise it up a little bit? It should just be a problem with the linkages or cables depending on your vehicle. Some vehicles don't have either one but it is controlled electronically by a shifter sensor and a motor to put it in the corresponding gear on the transmission housing
hi, i have a mercedes c 180 w203. I have problems with the gearbox when it is not warmed up and I put it in D I feel a vibration, and when it warms up the gearbox calms down. the complete oil and filter were changed. and it's the same again, could it be next to the convert.??
for an automatic 8 speed transmission, If you want the gears to automatically change without you doing anything then If I was you, I would expect some complexity.. 😂
Vey well explained. I have a doubt. My Toyota corolla 2010 model, from past 2 months, little jerk while vehicle is about to move front or back when it is in uphill. Also mild jerk while driving may be between 2 to 3 gear. What could be the cause and remedy?should i repair it immediately?
When was your last fluid change? I had a similar issue, I changed out my trans fluid and put a bottle of Lucas transmission fix and it stopped. Going strong so far.
Are there any technical advantages (not on fuel economy) to the AMT gearbox (life of transmission components) from disengaging gears (shifting to Nutral) at traffic stops?
Nice explanation but I want to know is torque converter is reliable to Indian conditions, comparatively manual transmission,or which transmission is hassle free ? Coz DCT will be over heated & not reliable in bumper to bumper traffic & CVT transmission is not performance oriented in highway we can't overtake suddenly it is good in city conditions only ,for torque converter in india if any problem arises it will be solved skill fully,pl answer to my querries.
Hello, I have a question on aapp4hp14 after warming up to the working temperature slips on the drive, the rear gear perfectly works on the pod switches gears until the cold apc has gone through all the parts except the hydrotransformer could exit the frictions in it
Most up-to-engines are automatic. Shifting gears manually is now out of date technology and can over rev engines shortening their performance. Some still love manual gear shifting as do old science. Providing your engine is running well an auto transmission will provide a smooth ride.
This picture for the video is actually a Mercedes Multi and there crap . Clutches almost always go metal to metal and if it's a jeep the spigot will need to be cut out and replaced.
Is the script writer not a native English speaker or an AI? The language used is strangely stilted and word choices are sometimes inaccurate or overly academic sounding. Who uses the term ‘glycol’? That may be the actual pollutant that ruins a transmission, but ‘antifreeze’ would be a term more quickly understood. Neat animation.
@Adam Defibaugh You obviously aren't a mechanic nor one who has ever rebuilt an automatic transmission. I don't know anyone who rebuilds torque converters unless you live in a 3rd world country. Don't equate a spark plug to a torque converter.
I have to say, that all your videos make it easier to understand and pass ASE Certification test!
the best explanations about toque converter, I found it on youtube, very thanks to you.
Best explanation of the stator and stator clutch I've found yet!
this is just... wow. unbelievably high quality explanation, like your other videos. you should make them for all parts of modern cars!!!
Very intresting. Who else is watching before replacing your TC
Great quality animation easy to understand
best animation! in youtube!
Thank you very much. These are help to learning

Good comment.
Beautiful and excellent video.
We have patented an advanced hydrodynamic transmission/coupler ‼ big 🎩

Good job. Will the 4th episode be released??
Thanks for you all for this video, please I am automobile mechanical engineer.

Visible quality. Hugs from Brazil.

Wtf kind of witch craft practicing engineer came up with this crazy thing?

Boss! Which animation software are you using for these animation?
Bestesttttt explanation ever

Hello, for information please contact an employee of our company via email: admin@softelectronic.com
@@SoftelectronicCOM Hello, if that answered I found the problem will be questions I will write you ok
this is brilliant, thank you
Does torque converter responsible for jerking / shaking vehicle while changing gear?

Would you, please, open a workshop in Bucharest?
Thanks for this video
Very good information sir
Very good job
Excellent! 👍💪
Glad I found this channel 👌
Very nice, thank you.
Grate explain❤
Converter whines during acceleration.
Stops once the load decreases.
Answers anyone?
Was invented by romanian engineer Gogu Constantinescu

New subs here
And still is inefficient over a clutch system.
too amazing for a pr video,
Nice
Dear
I would establish with you a partnership in my home country which is Algeria
Interested ?

I've just sent please follow up my request
Hope i dont fail my semi-auto transmission exam!
Good
Just freaking look for a car with dual clutch instead... A lot less hassle in the long run
DCT/DSG have their own set of problems that are expensive to maintain.
Circular motion, rub it!
EXACTLY what is wrong with my charger smh...
And this is why I always buy not rebuild junk

Это же моя идея -- вот что значит жить в стране в которой не возможно реализоваться.
Huh?
Torque converters are not serviceable parts!

Who rebuilds a torque converter??? Just get a new one...
@Adam Defibaugh You obviously aren't a mechanic nor one who has ever rebuilt an automatic transmission. I don't know anyone who rebuilds torque converters unless you live in a 3rd world country. Don't equate a spark plug to a torque converter.
@Adam Defibaugh ya your comment is a little dumb lol nobody rebuilds torque converters
Alot of the "new" ones you purchase are actually remanufactured.
@@goatsemarathon6642 Maybe so, but an end user doesn't rebuild it... you would need a welder, a lathe and a dynamic balancer to put it back together.
@@freddanialiI seen some for larger industrial torque converters need to be rebuilt in the shop
I’ll say it again...I hate automatic transmissions!!!
