So practically speaking, those living there have to think and plan for the long-term and how they can make limited resources stretch for the unforseeable future/seasons. (Yes, she's doing this for a video but the audience have to remember that first and foremost, she's living off the land.)

The weather is mile, not too cold in the winter (I mean not like Russia, which is why there are vegs growing), summer is not too hot either. However it can be very humid at bother summer and winter, which is why people from there eat a lot of pepper and chili to get rid of water (if there is too much water in their bodies, especially bad waters)

To detail on the weather, the 4 seasons are quite explicit from Jan to Dec. The area where she lives is actually where the vast plain meets the Tibetan highland, which is why we can see both ponds & streams and high mountains in her videos.

Hen are far better at brooding than Duck , so it's normal to get a hen to brood the duckling I saw a proud hen mother walking by a pond , the duckling just rushed to the water splashing and diving , while the hen was having a panic attack madly cackling and rushing all over the bank

It doesn't contradict to the fact that she is a hard working person in real life. For example when she make lip color paper, there's no way to have that perfect vibrant color with her ingredients. Even more doubts when she built a swing, sofa or something , from people who actually make them for a living. In a show where she cooked food, 80% judges didn't like her food and weren't willing to invest in it. In this show, she also said she enjoys the life when she just go out once to pick up the veges enough for a whole day and then come home to spend the time her grandma. @@JustBreatheOkay different veggies for different seasons.So , yes. Veggies grow all year around. Some years there is snow, some there is not. To detail on the weather, the 4 seasons are quite explicit from Jan to Dec. The area where she lives is actually where the vast plain meets the Tibetan highland, which is why we can see both ponds & streams and high mountains in her videos.
