After two days of struggling against Arishok on Nightmare, I finally watched your video and defeated him today! Different build (Berserker+Reaver, no skills to restore stamina), so it was not as straightforward for me, but watching how you move in battle made all the difference. Thanks a lot, learned much from this video!
This video was literally a life savior, even though it took me an hour to kill the Arishok (on NORMAL lmao I had only ONE health potion and I had to run in circles while my HP was slowly rising). Hated myself every time he impaled my Hawke. Anyway, thanks a bunch.
@@bluetwinkiesaregood Just this particular boss, for this particular class (Warrior). He's a challenging boss, no doubt. But Mages and Rogue would have a slightly easier time against him due to their inherent talents/skills. There's also the Ancient Rock Wraith that looks very intimidating but isn't too hard once you know what you're dealing with. Edit: If I have to guess, I'd say you're looking for old games to play during this lockdown/quarantine. :D I played this game years ago and I'm replaying it.
Sean Suing lol yes I’m playing my PS3 to kill time in quarantine. 😝 honestly I suck at part 2 and struggle on normal mode. Origins was easier. Everyone in boss fights keeps dying. I only beat one boss on normal mode.
@@bluetwinkiesaregood Try nightmare with friendly fire. Every fight you win is gonna feel very rewarding. Have fun! I'm in Act 3 now and after this I'll restart with a different class/style. So far I've tried Rogue Archer, Warrior SnS/2H, maybe I'll be a mage next.
Sean Suing I finished on casual mode with warrior. I’m playing mage now. Do you think if I get the bundles or weapon and Armor dlcs I’ll be able to beat normal mode?
Replaying this during quarantine and I gotta say... With a mage, this battle is insanely easy. You don't need to min-max attributes or respec so long as you have at least one Winter's Grasp and an upgraded Mind Blast (for the stun) and a decent staff with good enough stats. Basic run-of-the-mill equipment and a half-decent arsenal of skills to do damage with and you can win even on hard mode. Nightmare...I'm not too sure about that.
I actually discovered you can refuse the duel and fight the Arishok and all its enchmen.. and somehow the Arishok is soo easy to defeat there xD xD... Sooo... Guess i won't give that religious extremist the satisfaction of a duel. You go down like a random npc xD xD It changes nothing storywise... Just the line from cassandra commenting the "romantic idea" of the single duel

I’m playing a Reaver Berserker too! Haven’t engaged the Arishok yet but heard it’s pretty difficult. Are bombs a viable option with him? Any advice?

Autom4tic an hour to beat a boss on normal mode? This game is harder than I thought!

haha yeah, i remember spamming ice n crushing prison n having fun, unlike stupid trailer hawk who tried to mage melee him n got his buns slapped
Totally agree with your opinion. Mage is the best choice in this game, rogue as alternative.
@@garlicsauce2663 Rogue can demolish the Arishok quite quickly, like the mage can.
Rogue can demolish him fairly easily too. Even in Nightmare.
@@lucasmorandini7566 I remember as Rogue, I played hide and seek with him around the pillar until I eventually killed him without taking damage 😂
What armor is ?
Its unfortunate that Arishok is the coolest looking boss and yet have the most boring battle. His knock backs are annoying when you get caught
