Great video, I love the picture they included at 1:55 of the short barreled stug with schurtzen, I had never seen that before, looks really cool and unique lol
I wonder if Mr. Doyle's comment will lead to respraying the vehicle it in more "suitable" colours? Which raises the question of what might be more "suitable? Perhaps, uniform overall panzer grey (Dunkelgrau)? Or maybe a Winter Camouflage scheme over the Dunkelgrau? Since you know it ended in Denmark, a late war colour scheme of dunkelgrün base, with a hard-edge pattern of dunkelgelb and rotbraun, might be realistic.
Given this Sturmgeschuetz was rebuilt and Zimmerit applied the base colour would then have been updated to the RAL 7028. If the Unit commander wished it might have been over sprayed with a pattern of RAL 6003 and RAL 8017
very nice job, and an amazing rare piece of armor.

@@hilarylouisdoyle1529 Thanks. So it could realistically have just RAL 7028 Dunkelgelb.
Interesting that it wasn’t upgunned
The Zimmerit could be a field modification.
👍👍👍!!!
Thank you.
I do believe a few did make it to north africa, 6 actually, but not this one
Mr. Doyle makes the StuG look taller. I think he is 3 feet 8 inches tall
Naw, he is 4 feet and minus 4 inches
