Thanks for posting that Union Pacific train video
Excellent film Neil, I know exactly were you filmed. South of Albina Yard, and north of The Broadway Bridge along the bank of the Williamette River. The grain elevator is TEMCO. Tacoma Export and Merchandise Co. , where I was a security Supervisor, and saw many a Intermodal Freight. I also worked at Gunderson Rail Car Manufacturing Plant , 1989-2000 ( located to the north of the yard) as a welder fitter .Gunderson built the DTTX double stack, and Southwind single container cars. The Ribbed cars are Truex made in Chicago IL. Gunderson also built a series of Golden West 50" boxcars in 1999.
Excellent. I filmed from there this summer. Sketchy, but most of Portland is now. Happy New Year 🎉
Nice joob ✨⭐️👍🏼🏆
I'm not violently anti-graffiti like the boomer foamers, but I still shed a tear when I see an old Golden West Service boxcar covered in spray paint.
Nice job Neil. Why don't you include Radio Audio of the trains?
I've thought about it but I don't have the equipment yet to record random radio squaks as opposed to recording everything over a period of time and hoping to catch something. My radio only has about a 3 mile range too so cab convos are rare.
