I feel like doing the skin care parts of this could be a really good grounding technique for those of us with adhd, anxiety, etc. It could be helpful to focus on the steps of your skincare, especially to calm down at night or to get you started right in the morning. I know I usually speed through skincare like a chore because of the repetitiveness of it.
Even if you’re not witchy you could still try to do your skincare with intention to ground yourself, and help focus your mind. You could also use it as an active mediation. I know with my adhd sitting still to meditate doesn’t work for me. You could put on classical music or guided meditation like “Leaves on a Stream” while you do your skincare.
I’ve also found self care to be a great offering to deities that is spoonie friendly. I offer my skincare and showers to Aphrodite but I feel like you could offer taking care of yourself to almost any deity you work with. It’s a bit of two birds, one stone situation for me. Because of my chronic illness it’s hard to make offerings and do self care so I combine them. I use a body spray with a sent associated with Aphrodite as an offering also.

I'm love hygiene stuff, so everyday I put on different hygiene routines for different glamour for example
    Attraction glamour:
Shower with dove white soap for cleansing (cleansing having to do with the color of the soap) and also visualize the water cleansing, I either use the ogx coffee and coconut bodywash or the carress daily silk for attraction and protection. And using shea moisture coconut and hibiscus for protection and attraction. And then I dry off and apply either vanilla lotion from eos or the coconut lotion from jergens for protection and attraction. And whatever perfume that corresponds with my intention with certain scent notes. And then wear an outfit corresponding. I also apply my own love oil. Obviously majority of these products dont actually have pure forms of the plants and herbs and fruits but I like the idea of it, because it's fun and smells nice

Esthetician here! When it comes to skincare products, I DEFINITELY recommend Image. I've used them for a while now, and I love it so much! Well, except for their Body Spa line, that one was a cash grab. But otherwise, they rule!
Their Ormedic line uses a variety of natural ingredients (which each have a variety of effects), Vital C focuses on packing a punch of Vitamin C (which I see as bringing similar properties of lemons and oranges), Protection + is their line of sunscreen (which can easily be used for protection), and they have a ton of other lines for various other concerns (Illuma for hyperpigmentation, Ageless for anti-aging, Clear Cell for acne, and The Max for their most intense ingredients that are safe to use at home).
No matter what products or brands you use, remember to wash your face both in the morning and at night, cleanse your face for at least one full minute (I personally jam out to my favorite songs while I do this), double cleanse, apply sunscreen in the morning (and reapply if you feel like you need an extra layer, like if you're doing yard work or something), use a non-SPF moisturizer at night, exfoliate once a week (use an enzyme or chemical exfoliant, because scrubs DO NOT belong on your face unless it's made with jojoba beads or microcrystals), and DO NOT USE HYALURONIC ACID IF YOU LIVE IN AN ARID CLIMATE!!! IT SUCKS THE NEAREST WATER TO ITSELF, AND IF YOU LIVE IN AN ARID CLIMATE, THAT WATER IS YOU!!!!

I love the mix of magical and mundane, Frankie! Your videos make me feel valid in my practice. I take an intuitive approach to most magic so I'm happy to see someone bring that practicality to RUclips rather than just holler about black stones and such! I LOVE scents and fragrance as glamours- i avoid using them for wanting to be lowkey. I also like spraying it on my back or behind me as a way to make heads turn or eyes follow me when i walk past. I also find that my best scents have notes that are related to my elements or patrons and energy. My favourite scent is described as a “watery sun essence”

It feels bad to take care of ourselves in place of others, at first. But you can't fill from an empty cup (I'm telling myself this often), and when you're taken care of by your Self it gets easier to do so, and it's at least a little bit easier to do things for others. I'm not claiming to know what you're experiencing, or your circumstances, but your comment resonated with me. Sending you love and strength and gentleness

If you have an interview, presentation, or important conversation planned, charging a lipstick or lip balm is a fabulous easy glamour that you can take with you on the go. I charge mine with eloquence so that I have an easier time getting my talking points across, and understanding so that my words are clear and untwisted. This one is also great for those that don't like or use make-up, as a simple chapstick works great for this. I've even done this for my husband who works in sales; it's a really great go to.

This video uploads right when I feel very icky about myself... (been fading out my green hair so I can dye it a different color. However, now my roots are grown out and it's been affecting me mentally x.x) Along with struggling with what my MIL thinks about my hair, there's just been negative energy associated with my physical appearence. (she's not a fan of weird-colored hair, and it sucks cuz me and her have a good relationship. She wants me to dye my hair back to brown for family photos, and it makes me feel very uncomfortable).
Today, I think I will finally bleach my roots and dye my hair pink. And do some glamor magic to make myself feel better, more confident, and the energy of "I don't care what anyone thinks. I love my way of expression!" (Idk if that makes sense to anyone, but if you read all of this..thank you for listening)

Thank you Frankie! My husband and I do deliveries and I often wear clothes I'm comfortable in, but also feel protected. Oils are a staple in my practice so when we go out, I anoint with money drawing and success oils. If I want to tap into planetary energy, I'll wear something that corresponds with one (Mars is a favorite for energy and strength so I'll wear something red or anoint with Mars oil). Great video and now I'm going to go through my lotions and perfumes and get creative. :)

I’m a devotee of Lilith and glamor is a huge part of my practice! I always wear a red lip because it’s protective but also alluring, I always try to have red or black in my physical outfit, and wear lots of jewelry because it’s “alluring” since we as humans are very attracted to shiny things! I also do rose baths!

i LOOOVE doing glamour magick with colours. i usually tend to do glamours for myself rather than to change how others see me. i like to honour how im feeling that day, if i feel very in touch with my emotions/drawn to emotional awareness i like to wear more green, more crystals that represent that, outfits that are more open/expressive. :)

I do glamour magic every day, in similar ways to your practice. I cleanse myself in the shower, physically, mentally, and spiritually. I use a variety of natural soaps, shampoos, and body washes, from my selection in the bathroom, depending on how I feel and what my intentions are for the day. This morning was all about satsuma! :)
I dress intentionally, using the same processes and intentions. Protection and attraction are my most frequent things too.
My go-to oil is By My Beard's beard oil, made from natural ingredients and never tested on animals, which is important to me.

Over the winter, I started transitioning my wardrobe to post-apocalyptic, monochromatic, greys, blacks, and neutrals, as a form of protection/armor. Back off, don’t bother me, leave me alone. (I’ve been going through some sh**.) I haven’t interacted much with the world yet (immune-compromised, paranoid about covid), so I’m not really sure how I am perceived, but it makes me FEEL protected. My intro to glamour magick was through "the satanic witch" (or "the compleat witch" as it was originally titled) by Anton LaVey. I read it with a lot of levity and laughter and was able to pull some good things from it. But. LaVey was definitely sexist in his own ways and the book was DEFINITELY written from a decidedly 1960s male perspective. You have to be okay with wading through some bullshit in order to find the golden nuggets. I was able to glean enough helpful info to apply glamour magick to my own life SUCCESSFULLY and I do think about that book on a semi-regular basis. Glamour Magick is fun and super useful. I'm in the service industry, so I use it daily!

Let me preface this by saying I’m not a professional, but I do love to research skincare on my own. Firstly, I love this channel so much and I always learn so much from it. But I think it’s important to note that a lot of natural skincare is bogus. For some people, they really love it and that’s great. It is true that everyone’s different and they’re all gonna need and like different things. But most products that claim to be natural don’t really penetrate the skin well and don’t really do much. And a lot of them contain oils and fragrances that are known to be bad for people with sensitive skin. If you like all natural products, that’s great, but always always ALWAYS remember to patch test, and make sure you do your research about the ingredients your products contain. And remember that a product being natural doesn’t mean it’s better.
