- Welcome back to Coding with Qiskit, where IBM research scientist Dr. Derek Wang will get you up to speed with the latest developments in quantum computers for your own work.
The foundation and focus will be on Qiskit 1.x, an open source and freely available software development kit that allows you to program useful quantum computational workflows, all the way from building quantum circuits and designing quantum algorithms, to submitting them to real quantum computers and orchestrating large-scale, complex work loads. With 1.0, we expect Qiskit to become much more stable, efficient and serve as the developer-ready software backbone for quantum computational workflow.

It is remarkable how much further ahead IBM is than any other company (or university) when it comes to quantum computing educational material.
indeed
In terms of purely programming that's true but not for quantum computing as a whole, there's plenty of other resources. Nielsen & Chuang's book and David Mermin's on quantum computer science are great.
Great presenter - looking forward to Dr. Derek Wang's series!
Can't wait for this series as someone entering just as Qiskit has been transitioning from 0.X to 1.X 🎉
It's so cool to hear you took one of the original classes! I can't wait to follow along.
so excited to watch this series!!
Excited to see what you all create!
Great video! Very informative and well explained.
Thank You IBM. Let's go Qiskit.❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
thank you!
“please hire me as an intern at IBM” :)
me too
This video deserves way more views. Sharing it with all my friends!
Thank you!
hi i am very excited. i am a newcomer to this world of quantum computers. i am very excited to learn and looking forward to your next video ☺☺☺
very excited ! can you give few assignments like few challenges after a video, so we can get more conceptual clarity by practicing .thanks for your efforts🙂
Check out the learning platform qisk.it/learning-platform-tour
We'll include links to each notebook and suggest ideas in the video for you to extend what was shown in the video.
damn, I was waiting for this.
Ready for this.... really ready for this. One question: would other modules such as nature or finance will get an update eventually? or the community will do it?
just a tip, try to make the teleprompter lines a little more narrow so that eye movement is more subtle
Can you teach us the implementation of Quantum Algorithms in Qiskit please
Nice!
Looking forward to the series.
Would you say, beginners should watch seasons 1...n, or can just start from this season and will be good to go?
This season will be covering most of the material covered in season 1 but all running on Qiskit 1.0 now.
Is this course for beginners or should i start from the material on the qiskit website first?
Is this one for the certification? Or the exam is already outdated?
I am working on an example using ZKP on a QC environment, is there any information about it, or somebody else tried it before?
Hi, we developed a protocol for transacting privately on public blockchains using ZKP. I am interested in knowing more about your use case.
UwU new series, let's gooo
Since qiskit 1.0, I was finding harder to find like what parameters do I need to pass in estimator, transpiler and how it effects runtime. Can anyone help me or guide through the page which mentions about it?
We'll talk about these things starting from episode 3
Can I join ibm quantum as a student
does the .qiskit__version__ command still work for 1.x, because it doesn't seem to work for me
It didn't work for me. I believe you should now use .__version__ as shown in the video
@@DerekWangIBM Yeah It works now, I followed the latest video, thanks anyways
Can you please post this series of video little bit faster. 2 days one video is my suggestion.
Good things take time.
@@qiskit okay, I will wait 😅
