idk why i feel like the switch graphics fits better for the game , its not only because it gives me some ps2 era nostalgia but somehow having lower graphics makes the assets be glued together meanwhile PS5 feels like an asset flip.
Honestly, I kinda like low quality stuff like how it appears on the switch. Reminds me of older games I'd play when I was a kid. I'd gladly play it if it looked like the switch version and had the load times of the ps5 version.
Not stupid at all, I go to these a lot simply because I own both consoles and for some games I want to know if it performs well enough for me to get the handheld version, as, you see, I can't exactly carry my PS5 with me everywhere I go
@@Mindartcreativity Doesn't always have to, some engines and some game design choices can push how demanding a game is without it being top end graphically
@Mindartc it's a poor optimization, optimization doesn't just mean as of how the said game would run or looks, but also on how smart the devs to use the GPS or CPU without frying it into crisps. I've been in a similar situation on my base ps4 when I tried the demo of Trails of Mana, my ps4 fan went to the roof like a jet engine throughout the whole experience, then again on the same ps4 when I played a far more demanding game like Horizon Zero Dawn the ps4 is a bit quieter and it even go full cool down mode when I bring up the world map which the ps4 fan completely goes silent.

Thanks for showing us how it looks on switch. The side by side was a great touch.

Honestly it's fine on handheld. At night or in caves it actually looks good because a lot of the bad textures are hidden by the darkness lol
that's like saying "you look good with a mask because I can't see your face"
アウトワードみたいなグラフィック控えめのゲームでも結構差が出るのね
I am so getting the switch version...
Some Morrowind ass lookin shit right there lol
good port,I bought it this weekend on the Nintendo switch and it's very good.
Switch is such a great porting machine
Please don’t lie to yourself please
@@razorbackroar just look how many games ported to switch
When people say Switch ports look like a PS2 game, I typically argue....although, in this case it truly looks like a late gen PS2 game.
Only an idiot would argue. Most games do run at half the frame rate & are never 4k 2k & hardly hit 1080p.
@@razorbackroar I argue when people say Switch ports look like PS2 games when they clearly don't if anything they look like a PS3/360 game.
so you've never played a ps2 game... i see
@@hsssbjejew764 I play my PS2 often on original hardware. So yeah, say less.
@@CodyHimselfXI okay so tell me a game that looks as good as this LMAO

even low setting in pc better, maybe in switch they like switched off the advanced shader
Isit good at ps4??
What about load times? Is there any difference between consoles?
HUGE. Ps5 is much much faster obviously ;)
@@Cycu1 was wondering because games like Kingdom Come that released recently had lower load times on the Switch
Switch is similar to OG ps4/x1 Outward. Not intolerable, but def longer.
That texture on switch is unforgiven😢
it will be better on the switch 2, you can buy it on the normal switch and then when the switch 2 comes out you can still play it on the same acc.
In my opinion Switch Version looks better, because it concealed the bad graphics better. :)
So it looks like a classic game on switch
wow
How does a game like this look so bad on the Nintendo Switch? I don't get it...
Switch version looks like ps1 graphics.
It could do much better than this too, they haven't put a lot of effort into this one

And ps5 a ps2 graphics 😂

Stupid to this comparison 🤦... it's like yeah let's do a full build PC vs Ps5😂 comparisons.
Actually i will do that too

Love outward although it makes my ps5 run pretty hot
What? It doesn't even look that impressive graphically...
