90s themed music is a BIG thing in this years Eurovision. Quite a few entries are 90s flavoured this year and this one is 90s eurodance. One of my faves because I grew up listening to this kind of music.
The thing is music genres come and go. What is original constantly changes. But being original shouldnt be the measuring stick for good music, who cares if its original if its not good. This 90s style obviously was played a lot then, but this style was brought back in 2019 and has since been very much used in music (the weekend for example).
For ME the lyrics are quite deep as it is about when You can´t make love work in Your life and then you escape into meaningless pleasures like hitting the discos to "forget about the demons in your head". I know what she means as I spent almost every night for some 7 years in the discos where me and my friends raved lacking deeper engagements. Btw I have the same feelings and emotions about "Unforgettable" and no wonder because these two songs are both written by some of Sweden´s most professional songwriters. Jimmy "Joker" even contributed to both songs. I love these songs and think they will trend during the year in the nightclubs since they are so danceable. "Unforgettable" became nr 1 on Spotify in Sweden immediately after Melodifestivalen and it is stll in the top ten there and may rise again in the coming weeks

The beginning reminds me kind of Madonna's MDNA album (Girl Gone Wild?) but then it turns into a 1990s Euro Dance track. She will rave herself into the Grand Final.
She is lovely lady, but i watched her live performances and i was disappointed, to be honest she is more dancer than singer. But she is sweetheart, anyway she can sing or not i think she can qualify ❤
She's just ginger Cascada to me and I'm so here for it. The song is really a banger. Not enough to win imo for many reasons but the song is still so good and catchy. It really makes you want to dance! And she might get even more points cause she looks absolutely amazing!
Good radio Song by night for party. This can be a finalist of She Sing cotrectly durin the live performance and maybe not too much dancing. Wish u a fast recovery so u can go rave with Ur fellow girlz
This is exctaly what I missing this year. A meaningfull songs with strong lyrics. We have really lack of them this year sadly. We have a lot of dance songs we can’t relate to them. We Will Rave is my winner this year, but there is no significant meaning. But this year really meeeh, If it will be Paskana for Finlanf and it would be at least one. Like last year Future Lover or Die Togheter in 2022. Ballads are needed.
You can't beat a back lit IBC water tank in a metal cage: cheap and impressive for the backdrop. I'm a sucker for a drum and bass vibe. Think it is a sneaky one that will do well outside of ESC whatever the placing.
This was my favourite from the beginning. I still love it but in the Madrid pre-party didn’t sound great (hopefully was just the bad audio that didn’t make it justice). Still in my top 5.

I dont know- it once was a song contest. i hardly can call these club dance tracks a chanson. for me they have no place in such a contest. but i know i will get hate for saying this. i dont mind. its a genre that belongs into clubs, but not in a song contest. its also extremly dated and sounds like back in the 90s. we have 2024 now. please move on.

Thank you for pointing out the lack of lyric quality. I'm really tired of people going nuts over women dancing to songs that are dumb and don't ask much of them vocally.
I will keep writing you until you do israel review. Not all of us citizens can control the situation and we only left powerless and go through horrible emotions...so the eurovision allows us a nice distraction, sort of escapism. Please take that under consideration
The song alone is ok, but as a young austrian I just think it's kind of sad. We had a great message with great young women last year and this year we just go for 'sex sells'. And not even in a good way, cause there have been great 'sexy' performances throughout the years with great dances, but her live performance I saw tonight was mainly focused on her butt cheek.
This year you really stop the songs way to often. Can you please don't stop the songs that often? I really loved to watch your video's the last years but now I have found others who don't pause that much
You were not annoyed with the ra da dam dam with this one but you did with the lalalas of the Cypriot entry. Sometime as you said, just sit back and enjoy the beat!

I think the ram di dam dam makes it catchy but the lalalas for cyprus is just lazy writing
I think the difference is this song is good, Cyprus’ isn’t.
Because the ram di dam dam is a hook. The lalalas are just a way to complete the lyrics and it's not that clever. I understand her point of view
