We had a Chweenie who would start howling as soon as you went to touch his paw. If he saw the clippers he wouldn’t come near you. My Chihuahua I could trim hers but she was not happy about it. I miss them both terribly! We now have a German Shepherd Lab mix. There is no way that she is going to let me trim her nails. We also have a Boston Terrier that showed up on our golf cart January 1st. I have not tried to trim hers yet. She has been to the Vet so much that I get them to trim them. Much easier! Those 3 are a pack of sweeties 😊 Little Chouchou is fitting in nicely! She is full of energy. Loulou is so good with all of them!
Spa day at the groomers for my two mini D’s. Too much drama for me. My smooth haired, chocolate and caramel, fights like a prize fighter! She boxes non stop. My beautiful, blonde long haired mini D really looks like a star when I pick them up. My beauty and my imp🐾❣️🐾
Saw Mimi’s cat butt😂Lol! One of my pups hates getting her nails cut too. I end up with battle scratches. My other baby is really good about it though, thank God for that💕

Who would have thought a nail clipping video would be so cute! They looked well excercised and Chouchou appeared tired which makes clipping so much easier😊. Whenever i take my dog on her walk, when we get home, she is wiped down with baby wipes...even her ears, but mostly her paws. Theres so many chemicals in grass in the cities and it keeps your house cleaner, too. ❤
It is Manicure day for the ladies and baby. The spa is you Eveline! I do not take my pet to a dog spa or the vet. They cut to the quip and I got tired of that happening with pain for my little dog and the mess of blood drops everywhere. I do it myself, have done so for years. Dog is safe and happy.

Hi, Eveline! You are very skilled! The Girls certainly earned their treats this time! Have you clipped MimI’s claws yet? I only had one cat out of four who would ever let me clip his claws! He was an angel! For the rest of my cats, the veterinary technician needed assistance because they would get crazy and try to bite and scratch! I felt like a parent being called into the principal’s office because my “kids” misbehaved! 😂❤
I've seen people smear a special kind of mat with peanut butter and let the dog eat as they clip. Have you tried that? Though she really was pretty good with it all. Loulou and Coco are old pros. She will probably be fine with it, in time.
These dachshunds seems behaved when cutting their nails compared to my dogs. Loub is the most behaved. My dachshunds don’t want their nails cut hence a bit of hesitation. Chou Chou keeps eating the treats even though she’s done with her nails😅 🤣😍
We use a dremel on our mini dachshund three times a week, just a tiny bit every time. We have done this since he was tiny, following the instructions of the breeder. Better than clipping!

I never had to cut my dachshund's nails since I walked her so much and we had hardwood floors. No grooming either other than bath and brush. I saved so much money.

I think CoCo has more tan spots on her chests, but yeah if you can't see their chests they looks practically identical lol.

I let my groomer cut both my dachshunds' nails. They get a bath, nails trimmed, I tip very well, and everyone's happy. Especially me😂😊😂😊

maybe try the disk grinder things. Dogs nails like humans are sensitive up to a point.
