    I'm using the pages on the right to transform it in a 10 years journal, works like a charme

    Thanks for the video. Nothing prevents you from starting mid year like we did. You go back and forth in the book anyway ;). That’s why the start and end date are not pre filled with 1st of January. Common present for those who get married or start another important chapter in their lives.

    Such a useful video, thank you 😊 I was thinking on buying a Hobonichi but now I know there’s more options to look at 🤭

    Maybe you could add more years to the Hobonichi - 2024 and beyond on the right hand side, maybe not another 5 years, if your son does doodle on some of the pages, but a couple more to use more of the book. I couldn’t wait to start mine this year, so I did the last three months of 2020 on the right side page for my 2021 start.

    I had a clear cover on a small year planner I had years back and after a year it was a little cracked and abused. But I can appreciate the Embroidered 5 Year journal coming with one. Let us know how it holds up! I suspect the company offers more of these dust covers. Im a little bummed I am seeing this video so late in the year and can’t snatch up one of the Hobonichi dated planners. Wish they didn’t put years in them. I’m looking for just that with the thin “bible paper” ❤

    the right hand side is designed to be used for things like photos or stickers, or like you said to extend the writing i believe

    I cant Help myself but the midori Looks exactly Like the typical German bible you can find in every church Here. Color, size, Look, printing... 🤷

    What's the size difference between the embroidered vs. Red Door version?

    • @SterlingInk
      @SterlingInk  3 года назад +2

      Hi I believe they are the exact same size. The embroidered looks larger because of the plastic cover

    Great review! How do midori and hobonichi deal with leap days? Do they use lighter shades?

    which one do you prefer?

    • @SterlingInk
      @SterlingInk  3 года назад +3

      I prefer Hobonichi 5 year for family journal, or if you have a lot to write and prefer the Midori ones if you just want to write one or two lines a day.
