We agree. This one goes on and on. And the trail at the bottom is quite rocky and hard to get a rhythm on. On Saturday mornings we are mainly flying drones over big houses at present 🙂
I loved that video, our paths nearly crossed as i decided to run around Middleton Woods on Saturday. Tough hilly one and partly on trail paths but all in the shade 😊
Will do Ian - we've done a few in your area. Newbury where you did your 10k. Guildford. `In your area' to someone from the north means anywhere past the Watford Gap 🙂
Thanks Dawn and John. Another entertaining video. Temple Newsam is a nice part of the world and 1 of 9x ParkRuns in my home city of Leeds. Bit embarrassed to say I’ve not ever run this one. I have however run TNT10 (miles) here which takes place in January. The winter conditions means it’s always a tough challenge. Also ran a marathon here called Bluebell Bash with Grim Up North. Think that was 6 laps so a challenging day.
Hi Colin. Another race I (John) took part in there many years ago is the National Cross Country Championships in February I believe. 2004. Yes Leeds has many excellent parkruns. We got into parkrunning through regular visits to Hyde Park (now Woodhouse Moor).
Great video. This one is one I've wanted to visit for a while. Looks lovely. Sandwell Valley parkrun goes over a motorway! I've never done it, but I've seen vlogs on it.
Entertaining video as ever. Regards motorways and parkruns, I've run Sandwell Valley parkrun which passes over the M5 twice and the Severn Bridge parkrun which runs alongside and then under the M48. I did once run the Severn Bridge half-marathon which ran along the eastbound carriageway of the (thankfully) temporarily closed M48!
Great video as always - thank you for sharing! - re the motorway and from a personal point of view - its certainly the closest parkrun to a structure which I have designed! 🙂 I must go and visit this one!
Another one ticked off. You certainly get around the country. Looked like a good one to run. I guess some of the trees might have grown a bit since Capability Brown planted them. Take care.
Look very nice the castle in England hope to experience this someday
Another quality production and a reminder of the dreaded hill 👍😂 I’m sure Barnsley’s hill is easier than that 🤔😳

We remember Middleton Woods, and yes, it's definitely tough. Nice one! 🙂
Nice run both! Fair play for getting out there to different places each weekend. Let me know if you are ever down south!

I love the drone footage, very nice scenery! I would be tempted to try Temple Newsam Park Run except for that hill climb🤣🤣
Thanks, Kev. We didn't notice the hill. 😁🏃🏃♀️
Thanks Dawn and John. Another entertaining video.

Yes, we've done Sandwell Valley. You'll enjoy Temple Newsam and its friendly team. 🙂

Yes, of course, Seven Bridge and Sandwell Valley, which we'd forgotten about. 👍

I take it you didn't design Temple Newsam Hall, so what is the structure? 😉
The underpass below the M1-A1!
I designed a number of structures on that motorway in the 90s!
Another one ticked off. You certainly get around the country. Looked like a good one to run. I guess some of the trees might have grown a bit since Capability Brown planted them. Take care.
Thanks Peter. It was a toughie.
Worsley Woods passes under the M60 and Sutton Manor is next to the M62 (similar to Temple Newsam)
We've done Worsley Woods but not Sutton Manor. Thanks for sharing. 👍
Pontefract is not far off M62
Yes, that’s another where you can hear the traffic as you run past...
