Looking at Xrd and Strive back-to-back, it's interesting seeing what they go for in terms of looks. I'd say Xrd goes more for the anime episode style, while Strive is closer an anime intro or promotional art. More things that are supposed to have some sort of sheen -- like leather or machinery -- have the appropriate detailing added to them in Strive. I think the best example of this is I-No's guitar: In Xrd, the body of the guitar has the same shading applied where all of the controls are. In Strive, the shading on this part of the guitar is more varied, giving it the appropriately complex look it deserves and helping it stick out. Another thing I appreciate about Strive's art style is that it uses three-tone shading and edge highlighting more than Xrd seems to. I think that brings it a bit more in line with Daisuke Ishiwatari's own art.
5:10 I had no idea that existed that’s hilarious
I didn’t realise i-no didn’t have the Venus symbols before

Yeah, it's stated somewhere on the internet idk where, that where Xrd was going for anime episode style while Strive was going for OVA style
If Jam gets into strive ( oh god no ) I'll be very excited to see her redesign
The glowup will be crazy
Efelt looks more good before XD,
She's going for a different vibe, also less blatant about the whole wannabe bride thing
