wow! Such great touch and magnificent sound. Would you share the setup as far as equipment to achieve such sound in the video. I was attracted to your video because I am currently working on Countdown and looking for more ideas. i am mainly practicing Trane s solo which almost seems impossible on a string instrument at a fast tempo. Nevertheless I have been playing it slowly and also unsing it as as warmup exercise or etude and hopefully, If I live long enough I will reach a pretty decent tempo. I am also impressed by your comping in between the single notes phrasings; Sounds very much like a piano s left hand. Does the hybrid picking help with that approach? Do you teach that aspect/method of playing? I have tried that a few times and ran into problems most of the time. Thank you for sharing!!
