How safe is egypt for travellers. Hear so much about scams and traveller issues. Can you share your detailed itinerary place you stayed or make a video of that
As an Indian who has visited multiple places, I can guarantee you will get scammed more in India than other places- only thing saving you is if you know the language.. Use the same rules as you do in India when visiting other countries. People are generally nice, as usual they are just trying to make a living ..
Scams are everywhere in Egypt even in the big showrooms. We went to a huge perfume showroom and bought frankincense. When we flew back home and unwrapped it, it was peppermint oil. But we got lucky with the papyrus painting. We picked up one at the Egypt Papyrus Museum in Giza. It's been 7 years since we framed it behind glass but it's still unwarped and in good shape.
Thank you for the shopping tips. I think too many people fall prey to the aggressive touts who push tourists to buying all sorts of souveniers that are subpar in quality.

Is it ok to wear sleeveless and straps, since it is a conservative Islamic country? Actually i had been researching and have read many a times to dress conservatively when in Egypt. What will you suggest?
Thanks for the 70% rule that’s helpful and as far as Good Luck 🍀 Muslims believe Good & Bad comes from Allah and we are not allowed to keep any statue of anything in our homes and it’s against Sharia Law to believe that a stone or statue can bring luck and that’s called SHIRK means I am asking an entity other than Allah for Good Luck and what happened to Rameses is a lesson in Quran
Not sure why mummies are portrayed as negative in Egypt . May be because when Islam came and it vanished the early pre islamic Egyptian Civilization. The leaders who are now ruling , they were also trying to make sure that no remains of early Egyptian Civilization remains .
Very good presentation of the information. This is where all the tourists get trapped. Also be careful of the camel ride and unwarranted tourist guides. In nutshell every step be careful otherwise before you could realize you are trapped.
Is it safe to travel Egypt ??I was watching a true crime case related to Egypt & the comment section was filled with horrible travel experiences & how its unsafe to travel specially for women(with or without a man)🙄
