You must be on different planet. You called that modernize. Go to Kigali ,Dar el salam, or Nairobi. I spent 3 month checking out the entire country including villages and rural areas and I think you have not done that. It is sad.

I was impressed by the cleanliness of the city. Of course, the traffic is chaotic, but the streets are clean; there is no trash on the ground. It seems very dusty, but that's because it's a dry place. It's normal.
I’m from Brazil, and here it is very common to see trash on the streets, which is very sad. Obviously, Brazil is not a good example, as it is a country with a lot of poverty.
Aside from the chaotic traffic and the cleanliness of the roads, this video could have been filmed here in Brazil.

I am talking a bout the government not doing any thing but corruption. No roads garbages every where. The country is like some kid with no keeper.
Let's first put in place a modern public transport system, not the bicycles, motorcycles & 14 seaters. Also relocate all hawkers & clean up for starters, after working on the road network including the drainage system

Poor infrastructure even traffic lights i have not seen along the roads that's why people are moving as they want.
No offense. But I'm going to EXCLUDE South African cities to make this fair and only focus on East African cities. Like another poster said you call this clean and modernized? As a person who is going to be heading to Kampala(and Kigali) and has been to Dar es Salaam and Nairobi, this is not modernized and clean based on EAST AFRICAN standards... Its barely above Addis Ababa(been there too). This is not touching Dar es Salaam, Nairobi or Kigali in terms of modernity of East African capitals. I mean no disrespect but we gotta better our standards.

Clean ? Have you been to Kampala? Modern? How are you measuring that? Infrastructure, sanitation, housing, healthcare, safety? All are appealing. The people are wonderful, but don’t paint fake pictures.
