    The second vfd is still definitely a vfd, it's just the less common construction version where the segments are basically excited from the back and glow through the front glass. I have a few of this type of vfd I pulled from audio receivers/vcrs.

    The PCA9685 is a nice product, but on my boards i didn't get any power to the servo's, so you might run into the same issue. I ended up making a extra breakout PCB with seperate power input, and used just the pwm and ground from the pca9685 board to power about 40 mosfets. Works great!

    • @ELECTRONOOBS
      @ELECTRONOOBS  3 месяца назад +1

      I hope I won't have problems...

    • @Michael-zl7gi
      @Michael-zl7gi 3 месяца назад

      @ELECTRONOOBS You can check it with a multimeter, the screw terminals positive and negative should be connected to the red and black pins of all 16 outputs. If it isn't, you can sacrifice one of the outputs to supply power to the other 15 pins. That worked for me, but since I needed more amperage anyway, i just ended up using the negative and PWM output.

    • @caslor2002
      @caslor2002 3 месяца назад +1

      That is not always feasible. As i am also make / design new projects my self there are many cases that the project doesn't come up as you wished/planned . So you have to make a new design or order new parts or have to study/learn new skills or try to find what else are out there that could make your project more easy. All these things take time so you cant just wait to finish one project before start a new one. So in most cases you start something else until the new parts arrived etc and if the new project goes better you dive to it and take all your attention from the previous one (so you are putting it on the cue until the time comes to revisit it )

    I think we will see a lots of new inventions from you. That all of those future projects was very interesting.
    I have a idea or a question. I don't know what should I call that but here's that ( as we know in SMPS there is chopper circuit that converts dc into high frequency ac. And the same SMPS circuit is used in our mobile charger. So the point is that can we made a wireless charger with wired charger using it's chopper circuit's high frequency output? )
