Solo Hiking 18 miles to Wendover Woods - (4K)

- I hiked alone from Berkhamsted to Wendover woods in a circular route that totalled over 18 miles. This was a brand-new area of Hertfordshire for me, I had visited Wendover once or twice as a kid - but this was the first time as an adult, and I couldn’t recommend it more! It’s a gorgeous, well maintained woodland with plenty of different trails for you to follow.

This was my second ever hiking video, its much slower and atmospheric then my usual travel videos - but I have to say I’m really enjoying this new style of filmmaking! So yes, you’ll 100%, definitely be seeing more content like this in the next year! Also - this film includes what is probably my longest, and most genuine to camera round up at the end! It’s still not something I’m 100% comfortable with, but I’m going to make a point of including these vloggy update bits in the next few videos so that I can improve!
This is pretty much the route I went for on this hike, please note that I recorded my distance and pace on my Garmin Forerunner watch and not on this application - however, this will give you a good start if you want to try something similar!

@@DavidPMcEntee I lived in Tring in the 1980's and until recently my mum lived in Berhamsted. These fields, hills and woods were our playground. It's nice to see them all again. I still visit every now and again and will again soon... just for a walk.
