I really like your mod, thank you for your time and passion. Thanks to this mod I've got interest in Russo-Turkish War 1877/78 and I started to read books covering this topic. I've also seen the film Heroes of Shipka, very inspirational, though with a significant soviet propaganda.
@@PunitorMaximus I don't want to take advantage of your skills but we are working in a mod for Empire Total War and I would like to ask you a question. How did you manage to change the original Empire Total War logo by your own logo "Russo Turkish War" in the main menu? Thank you in advance!
@@jorgemartin5316 hmm i dont remember exactly, but i think by replacing the original logo image file with a new logo file. the new file should have the exact same name and format as the old one. if i'm right, the logo file in the mod should overwrite the vanilla one...
@@PunitorMaximus Thank you for your support. It worked very well. The mod will be set in War of the Pacific (1879-1883) between Chile vs Peru and Bolivia. I am just a collaborator and will be released in a matter of a month or so.
The Ottomans had some things going on for them: a very well equipped army, the finest cavalry in the world; Circassian cavalry (dominated the Cossacks), modern powerful fleet with some of the best warships afloat (total command of the seas). But it was still a pretty one sided war... If we look a little deeply. The Balkan nations had contributed great number of highly motivated troops to add to the already numerical superiority of Russian Army. Russian army was also quite modern and was incomparably better organised. The Russian leadership was also incomparable better than the absolutely inept Ottoman Pashas aside from Osman Pasha of course.
The russians had numerical superiority by the start of the war, but by the later stages of it the turks were able to mobilize a larger army, Albeit a far less motivated and experienced one.
Nice concept, but bad realization. Turkish and all of Russian uniforms are absolutely, totally incorrect, as well as the tactical formations of both armies.
