Honestly the Ice Capp from Tims would taste the exact same as a Starbucks Espresso Frappuccino. So pretty much add espresso coffee shots to it. Also a syrup base helps to make it not grainy and freeze up prematurely. (Starbucks would use a coffee base syrup or creme base syrup to avoid the chunkiness which I think Tim Hortons lacks on)
Idk in what world Starbucks tastes like Tim's, but all power to your palette

That's my go-to drink at Starbucks the espresso frap. I usually get an extra shot and vanilla or toffee whatever I'm feeling.
I work at tims, we use a tims brand Java mix that gets turned into slush by the machine and the texture depends on how much cream is added and how much it is blended. There is a nestle Java mix that you can use to recreate the iced capp.
The best way would be to make your own coffee at home and use that as a base

Do they add coffee to it or just the Java mix? I can’t get the same taste at home
@@tammeerivera9586 We use a bagged Java mix, dilute it with water and it goes into the iced capp machine to get turned into slush before it’s mixed with 18% cream (or any other choice of dairy). We don’t use actual brewed coffee in the iced capp but the Java mix itself has coffee, I think the nestle ice Java is the closest to it :)

Fun fact: most cream or frappe base use a powder that has xanthan gum in it. This gum acts as a stabilizer and texture enhancer. Thus retaining the good blend of ice from the beverage mixture itself 👌

From the title, I did not expect you to just be haphazardly throwing Tim Hortons coffee, creamer packets, brown sugar, and ice into blender lmaoooo. For the Iced Capp, if it tastes off -- It depends on who is making it (i.e., the coffee/cream ratio + and how long they blended it using the Iced Capp machine). & sometimes they also don't clean the machine/well enough when there's a sour/off aftertaste.

Asking you for the 9th time to make Scott's Emulsion kulfi. The Ikea's blue ice cream (sea salt flavored) gave me this idea since it tastes similar to that and it's tasty

lmaooo i used to work at tims but quit earlier on. from what i remember to make the ice cap you put in your cream and whatever else for the base then add java mix and blend. i think it's something to do w/ the java mix that makes it thicker. often it's not blended enough or too much of it is added - it was easy to do that w/ the machine. but yeah you can still never really get a smooth texture w/ it. alsoooo the java mix is just chunky in general. i think either the formula for it or the machines need to be replaced lols. love this upgrade!

Bro I moved away from Canada to the US a few years ago. I remember back in my childhood days when I used to love going to Tim Hortons to eat those Tim Bits and donuts they have. They don't have it in the US and I really miss it. 😔😔

Dude this sounds crazy but one time I put 6 oz of black coffee, a scoop of Optimum nutrition chocolate protein and a ton of ice in a blender and it came out just like a mocha ice Capp. I did this until I ran out of protein powder, it was sooo good
