In this property investment video I wanted to give a breakdown of the national HMO standards. When investing in UK property, and in particular HMO's, you have to make sure you do things in line with the local councils regulations and requirements.
*all requirements stated are as it is at the point of recording

What is your opinion on buying fully made and licensed HMOs ? what do you think about en-suite with every room increasing risk of council tax being charged on each room ? heard from another property expert no one has ever has these council decisions overturned; I prefer en suites with every room as you stick out from the crowd in a good way

I gave my 3 bed historian Terrance to agent who got tenant that convert into hmo in London n20 now he created 6 bed from 3 bed one bath room house with 7 pp living there. But there is only one shared bathroom and toilet. This doesn’t appear correct. He submitted application to Barnet but they not.been to check. Also does circuit board need to be metal? He got 5 pp living there now but others will follow. All fire doors are in emergency lighting fire alarms notices to not smoke in communial hallway area. I have concerns regarding one bathroom what do you think?
