Verity of the Mortal Coil (BB Fight)

This is the new song for the Blue Baby Boss Fight in Ch. 6 for my mod soundtrack for Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. Similar to "Acceptance," this track was made in the same rough workflow, but the idea was made a lot quicker. I think it was mainly because I was able to use many of the elements of that song in this one. That way they have the same theme in mind. I feel good about the sounds I used here, especially the keys, near the middle, because I managed to get really close to that "Isaac Theme", plus the distant piano!

Dude, I recently had this HORRIBLE run in the OG where I had to use all my bombs on Mom's Heart and Isaac and I had like NO damage. Not only that, but half my bosses in Chest were eternal. But oh my god, it was so worth it to just sit in the BB room and let this wash over me. Made my run - and my day - so much better.

This works perfect with the reworked foes mod and its significantly better blue baby boss, also all of this soundtrack you're making is great, specially since I really like the feel of the flash ost in general, and this soundtrack really captures it 🐈

Thank you! I tried my best to emulate DB’s original tracks, down to the same sounds he used, and I did use My Innermost Apocalypse as a huge reference track, knowing it’d be the alternate track for it

A good way to hear more of the songs is to get a mod called “Hard Mode Major Boss Patterns.” It adds way more phases to the major bosses and make them feel like actual final bosses. That’s actually what I use when I’m recording gameplay that I’ll use as reference as I’m composing each song

@@MaladaptiveDaydreamerr Really? I was unaware that it wasn’t updated to Repentance, but it still works fine! I do recall getting some errors on the mom fight, but every other boss works!
