Brilliant instructions and techniques and stunning final result. There were so many times I thought "yep, that's it, finished!" but you went on to add yet more detail and refinements. Amazing attention to detail. Awesome video.
How do you know where to apply the shadows/lights? Is this from sketching experience? Cause I feel like that really brings the image to life, but it is something I am stuck with
It will become natural, observe vehicles, their environment and the direction of light. *A good way to work on this is by drawing a small circle to observe your light source in your sketch or illustration and draw directional lines from the light to, or just past your subject matter. Check out "Scott Robertson" his drawing/rendering books are clutch. (he also has information across all social media) He is an instructor/author/artist who taught at the Art Centre.
I started drawing with corel draw because according to what I needed at the time, lately I have to draw using a brush, and I need Adobe Illustrator, because I have to draw with vector style .... to adjust the position of the image I still use corel draw, I have to deepen skills in adobe illustrator in order to work in one software...I think both of these softwares are equally good, but Adobe Illustrator is better, even though I'm still learning about Adobe Illustrator.
Wow again such an awesome video i like the way you work at the end you always put shine to your work by applying those shading and reflections i have to say well done keep it up i wish you all the best ☺️👍✌️
I discovered it, you forgot to mention that when I select rotate tool you need to point the center of a circle(ALT+click), then enter the value like 360/30 then ok, then CTRL D to copy.
I like the way of your explanation.. but pls slow down, some of your move are so fast, I can't notice all these details! It is nice option on put on the screen difference Mac & Win. Thanks for nice video, I saw many nice things there!
Can you please let me know the outline view where the reference image can be seen? If I use ctrl+Y view it's different view. Hope you understand what I mean. Can you please let me know? Thanks in advance.
@@DesignWithSonet I realize this is an old post but if you learn PS first and then try to learn AI, it is hard. Kinda like if you learned how to use a Windows/PC first and try to use a Mac or vis versa. =)

So in a way, it kinda comes with experience. In the cars case I decided to apply more highlights at the top and shadows at the bottom :)
Experience really matter bro. Keep trying
@@DomDesigns excelente trabajo hermano 👍

usually i draw in illustrator just for drawing with freehand style, watch this video i can draw like in corel draw,....thanx Dom Design.
Do you think Corel draw is better than illustration?
