Kitcar Shorts Moss Monaco

The Moss Monaco was a kit from the mid 1980's and intended as a cheap fun entry model for first time kit car enthusiasts.
The photos were kindly supplied by Bas from the Kit Car Museum in the Netherlands. You can see Bas and other cars in his collection on both our Sweden Roadtrip series in the Enwins Motors back catalogue.

I loved the Moss Monaco, when I first saw it .

Dreadful pronunciation of John Cowperthwaite's name and one of his legacies; The Monaco.
He is not "copperthwaite" and it is not a 'monerco'!!! 🤦🏼‍♀️
Rollover protection? In the 1990s? OMG!! On a kit car? Do you think anyone would buy any kit car if they had safety in mind? (Pretensioners, SIPS, ABS, SRS, etc..).
The Monaco was a great application for hill climbing, and John knew of an owner who dropped a 3.5 litre V6 engine into theirs for just such trials.
