Can someone believe me if I tell them to close my eyes and imagine that I was there for a few seconds and I started to cry? greetings from Argentina. Enjoy the great bands that I will never have the luxury of seeing live thanks to extreme poverty.
I'm sorry you're going through that. I don't know what it's like, living in such conditions, but I imagine its really fucking hard on you. But I do have an idea of what why that brought you to tears, the same kind of emotions that draw us to Sleep Token. An hour ago I was playing The Night Does Not Belong To God, Drag Me Under, and Calcutta', and each one brought me to tears about where I am in life. And I'm in my personal bad place at the moment, have been for a couple years now. The opportunity for better is there, but I haven't been very good at acting on opportunity for a while. I saw them last week, and it was a fantastic experience. Though, because that evening meant so much to me, how their music means so much to me... looking back it doesn't quite feel real, the memory of me being 'there' is kinda fuzzy. So I'm watching live footage of recent shows to.. imagine I'm there too :)
Listening to the album, the bass drop in the first part is chilling but hearing it live must be fucking surreal. I didn't particularly care for this song at first (I'm a new Worshipper), but seeing how popular it is, it changed things. It's great and powerful Worship from Alaska friends
This show was awesome, it was my 6th time seeing Sleep Token. This song particularly sounded great, apart from the people stupidly screaming during the nice little piano bits that should be creating atmosphere... Some people need to learn just when to listen and appreciate.
We absolutely love them.❤❤ We saw tShepherds Bush Empire before they took off like Rockets!!! Good for them. They are are awesome, and sooo happy other peoples are getting them too....words fail me....👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗
I saw Birmingham and got excited, until I realized it's Birmingham, England instead of Birmingham, AL. Maybe one day they will visit the other Birmingham here in the US
[Verse 1] Call me when they bury bodies underwater It's blue light over murder for me Crumble like a temple, built from future daughters To wasteland when the oceans recede Merry in the morning, earn your bitter fodder It's easier to try not to eat So flood me like Atlantic, bandage up the trenches Anything to get me to sleep [Verse 2] I woke up surrounded, eyes like frozen planets Just orbiting the vacuum I am They talk me through the damage, consequence And how it's a pain they know they don't understand Sobbing as they turn to statues at the bedside I'm trying not to crush into sand So flood me like Atlantic, weather me to nothing Wash away the blood on my hands Call me when they bury bodies underwater It's blue light over murder for me Crumble like a temple built from future daughters To wasteland when the oceans recede [Outro] Don't wake me Don't wake me Don't wake me up Don't you wake me up Don't wake me Don't wake me up
This song is still getting better everytime I listen to it. But hearing the emotion in this live version took it up a level.

The drummer is soo goddamn sick with these guys

Its just so god damn epic, its hard to be quiet. P.s. I was not that guy nor have i seen Sleep Token yet.
Bro its live, It would be boring if everybody would just stand there and listen in my opinion
After watching this, I am pretty sure that I should see this band's live performance

Did he cry while he sing ? Cause me yes
I wouldn’t be surprised. You can feel the pain in the lyrics and hear it in his voice.
Really hyped to see them live on SBOA2023.
[Verse 1]
Call me when they bury bodies underwater
It's blue light over murder for me
Crumble like a temple, built from future daughters
To wasteland when the oceans recede
Merry in the morning, earn your bitter fodder
It's easier to try not to eat
So flood me like Atlantic, bandage up the trenches
Anything to get me to sleep
[Verse 2]
I woke up surrounded, eyes like frozen planets
Just orbiting the vacuum I am
They talk me through the damage, consequence
And how it's a pain they know they don't understand
Sobbing as they turn to statues at the bedside
I'm trying not to crush into sand
So flood me like Atlantic, weather me to nothing
Wash away the blood on my hands
Call me when they bury bodies underwater
It's blue light over murder for me
Crumble like a temple built from future daughters
To wasteland when the oceans recede
[Outro]
Don't wake me
Don't wake me
Don't wake me up
Don't you wake me up
Don't wake me
Don't wake me up
Thank you thank you for posting this 💓
Thank you!
