Hi Michael, I must admit I was a little worried when you dimpled the spline key on timber instead of a vise! (:-)) Sometimes it's necessary to reset the combination after the spline key is rectified, as the original combination is usually set WITH the loose spline key. This is an early LaGard lock, and they were notorious for wheel 3 slipping to a higher number when locking. As you are aware the LaGard wheels are stamped out from a single sheet of brass - unlike S&G where the cam mechanism is sandwiched between two surfaces. The later 3330 locks have a black coated 3rd wheel made from a tougher brass composition, and don't suffer this wheel slippage. Might be something to bare in mind when using this safe - or perhaps fit an S&G ... (:-)) Regards, Brian.
Excellent outcome on that repair (audio sounds fine). You and Priyer are pioneering the use of the humble hammer as an essential Locksport tool. How long before we see Sparrows start selling "Thors Hammer" with accompanying graphic on the handle 🤔

My lock ihas this very issue! I'm and excited to try your method! Thank you!
Hi Mr. Maynard, hope you are well!
Awesome video , and I enjoy how you explain things in detail.
Great job Mr Gorilla. Tbh I didn't realise the first vupload had any audio issues. Was a great quick fix to reduce the play on the spline.
Very helpful video. I just fixed same lock on my safe in 5 minutes. Thank you!
Awesome video, well done 😉 Bravo 👏
nice audio fix. do you not worry about the spline key unbending and possibly breaking?
Add the same problem with the same safe maker , with key lock as well. One of the wheels was bent. Dave chubb
Yeah, just more Chinese junk eh?

Is this not a reupload
