I am so glad to read that!! thank you so much for the compliment, and best of luck on your Lolita journey :) You should check out the Facebook group Big Sisters of Lolita Fashion if you have any questions about the fashion. Also, if you have anything you would like to ask me personally, maybe I could make a video response (or comment here)! Anyways, thanks again for your support sweetie
+Kanonique Yooo Zellers ahahah I prefer Cherry online btw ;) And yes, I think we all are self conscious at some point, but we shouldn't tbh. Everyone have different levels of comfort with their own body, but I think at some point.... we're all human. We all have pimples, red patch, sometimes rough skin... Everyone have those one day or another, we just tend to forgot that ~
I think you look fine natural, I think you have nice eyes, and remind me of an italian with the slighly wavey dark hair and large eyebrows, oh and I like the blue of your shirt, and a little bit of darker shads around the neck. but the lolita does make you look nicer, it usually does for most girls and well a few guys if they do it right.
thank you for your compliments :) I actually am Italian (technically I am Canadian, but both my paternal and maternal grandparents were born in Italy). I guess the gene pool is strong haha. And I am actually in my pyjamas at the beginning of the video, so it explains why I am wearing something very loose and unflattering. But I don't care about fashion when I sleep lol. And I do agree that Lolita usually makes people look nicer, and I am certainly not complaining haha. Lolita makes me feel beautiful. Thanks for commenting ! :)
I don't know if someone can answer this question... Uhm I'm just starting with Lolita fashion and I'm somehow used to wear makeup. But a step I definitely am not ready to go through is the whole false lashes/colored contact lenses. I'm suuuuuuper scared when it comes to touching my eyes. Even learning to put mascara and eyeliner was hell for me. So what I want to know is, is it OK to go for natural lashes ? I see there's a rly big difference between with and without. But I'm just scared af. Same question for wig (I often wear wigs so I'm OK with them but in the end its way more practical to go with natural hair)
you do not have to wear fake eyelashes, lenses and wigs. I do not use them either (and i think the girl in the video has wonderful natural hair that would look fantastic with the coord) You can look perfectly beautiful without it. For lolita the only "rule" you have to follow imho is the silhouette...and not looking costume-y.
Oh! I loved your make up!!! I am not wythe, but l am so light brown that blond's make up doesn't fit me. I am going try make like this. Thank you sweet 😍😍😍
+Berry Risa Thank you so much Berry!! :D The blush is from Maybelline New York, it is called the Master Glaze Blush Stick, and the shade is "Just-Pinched Pink", but there are other shades available (mine is the one on the far left) : beautyinfozone.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Maybelline-Master-Glaze-from-glitterglossgarbage.jpg
Lol girl you are too harsh on yourself; you are prettier than me for sure, you makeup skills are badass as f***, and you are probably richer than I ;_;" I sell some things to make room for more things, as I don't currently have a job, so yeah ;_;" but you are beautiful Dahlia, don't doubt yourself
As someone who is just discovering Lolita this video was so helpful and well made!!! You're insanely beautiful and I love your style! Thanks so much
