At 2:50 in the video, the instructions say "unroll the inhibited layer (smear layer) with a roller." I'm a jeweler interested in the Luxon system, but I don't understand what this step is supposed to be. Can you please explain it in more detail? After I apply the Bond, what is the smear layer?
Thank you for your request. I will be happy to answer your question: the inhibited layer is caused when our material comes into contact with blue light. This is a chemical reaction and is like an oil film. This must be wiped away so that the next layer can bond. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at m.georgoulis@invicon.at.
