I teach teenagers too, Mexico, China, Austria...and they are all the same - I can so relate to everything you said! Subscribed! Due to Covid it's all online now but that's OK too. I hope schools reopen in Austria soon.
I like the way you talk. You must be a great teacher. I would like to start teaching online for Chinese students. Where can I start looking? I'm Armando from Mexico.
Hello!! I really liked your video. Good tips!! I have a question, which is the platform with which you give classes? I would like to try it, I see you can move pictures and show them mini videos and write words like if it was an interactive board. Thanks!!
I'd love to teach High School Teens and University Students online. Any recommendations for online companies that offer these ages? I have the Cambridge CELTA certification (and 2 Masters degrees)
I used to love working for Waijiaoyi, such a pity that in a time of financial difficulty they turned to lying and exploiting their teachers. Many teachers still haven’t been paid for over six months of work. So sad.
helo i want to do a online teacher job for free but they demand certificates and force you to buy a bundle for 600 dollars thats what i dont have what should i do should i give up already?
that's my class. I teach English to 8th graders, the most boring and hostile class in the world. I am afraid when I am about to present the class. but I appreciate your suggestions
I would recommend teaching teenagers like one would teach a college course, but with lower expectations. And, do NOT play the question and answer game. Teenagers will ask you questions (personal and otherwise) to the very end of time. Finally, pray.
playback speed x1.5 to have a normal speaking speed. She doesn't have to speak so slowly in this video, it's not for students, but for teachers, who should be fluent.
being a teacher is such an emotional labor.

Thank you for your video. It is so clear and useful.
An online class mostly means one by one or a small group of learners. How about for crowded classes in which the teacher is far away from them all?
I used to love working for Waijiaoyi, such a pity that in a time of financial difficulty they turned to lying and exploiting their teachers. Many teachers still haven’t been paid for over six months of work. So sad.
This video is incredibly helpful!!! Thank you for all the tips. I'm sure my "enthusiastic" teenagers🤣 will like it
Yeah, they will think you’re nuts & disgusted if you show them you any toys puppets. 😂.
What's the name of the app that you use for online sessions ?
Any advice for the quiet students?
