      @@joblo2299 we been getting long jail sentences, these kids don't care about that shit. TN got the death penalty and it ain't stopping these damn fools from killing. We gotta start at the root of the problem which is your upbringing. We glorify fast money, dope, & guns. The poverty is so real that we living for the day, and can't be worried about a future we might not live to see. It's fucked up but that's reality They don't wanna earn anything anymore it's all about coming up overnight. To them the fastest way out of that is the streets. The majority ain't tryna go get a degree bc they can't start making real money fast enough. Idk its just my opinion from an avg Joe out the hood.

    I get tired of hearing that poverty is stage cause and some type of government program and intervention will help to resolve the issue. We have been poor since we got to America but it’s only in the last 40 we have begun to hate each other. We do not value community nor our elders. We have to demand change starting in our own households.

  • @JesseWinford69
    @JesseWinford69 3 года назад +21

    Omg this is fantastic. I've been saying poverty creates mental illness (like depression, PTSD, bipolar, anxiety, split personality, and countless others) also crime for years now. With poverty usually comes a lack of education as they are more focused on how to get food, pay bill, and dealing with pain. Carrying pain leads to selling and/or using drugs. which crates more pain, more crime, and mental illness, by usually carrying over to other people in some way to continue the cycle. When I'm saying words like pain and crime I don't mean specifically but more the thousands of other reasons, emotions, and experiences people are forced to go through to survive. If no one was struggling to survive and receives proper education. It can create real change for the future with more people having the capabilities to create freely. Myself was on the streets for 12 years eventually becoming a junkie, then a homeless junkie. I've been clean and off the streets for 4 years now. However not without consequences. As I face mental illness now. Definitely messed my life up physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially for partying hard for 12 years straight. No one ever leaves the streets without receiving addiction, incarceration, and/or death some unlucky Enough to get all 3. All of this is because of poverty, poverty has become the oppressor that effects all races.

However, as long as Tenn. has that you can carry a weapon without a license law still in place then the chances of any of those tools succeeding to the maximum effect is undermined/limited. No easy solutions.
      But for starters, you model your societies after countries that are successful with their youth. Emphasis on family, discipline and community awareness. Stop encouraging people to have babies and becoming reliant on social programs. Invest in education.
      I could go on and on.

      @@timbaldwin6283 Yes we gotta "Invest" in education. "Invest" with... moneeeyy. Totally agree.
      Of course money (especially when it's not properly managed) is not the only solution.
      But in this capitalist society can u really change something when u don't have the ressources ? What u gonna do? Protest? Gotta have the pesos to change the environnement.
      Stop saying the "culture" is violent. Nobody is violent. You become violent when you can't eat. When nobody let you eat. When somebody take the food off your plate. It's a life or death situation. Every single day.
      People don't care about the neighborhood they box them in, because first it's not yours, you didn't build, you didn't chose to live here, you just rent so you don't even benefit. That's why public toilets are dirty, that's why people trash things on the sidewalk, that's why they break everything in the apartment and wait for the landlord to fix it simply because it's not yours.
      That's why it's very important to make money, buy land and build our own stuff. Then cherish it. The rest will follow ☺️🙌
      Dolph is an inspiration: independent and successful artist, own 100+ houses, got his own record label with many artists. Own his masters. 2 kids. All of this while staying authentic and true to who he is. Kind of like Nipsey or Jay-Z (remember he was only 36 years old). RIP Dolph man

    It's not poverty or food deserts or any of that shlt.
    It's poor parenting and having the victim mentality instilled in them from an early age.
    Accept some responsibility people!
