Can't believe its finally getting worked on in SS14! Looks like Friendly Fire might be worse with the tile moving restrictions gone, also so much blood, debris might cause slow downs the longer the round goes on. All in all looks great so far!
Russian servers already have several servers of this type. And as for the garbage... As a last resort, you can make the blood slowly evaporate and the cartridges disappear
@@Jetstream_Toster That's exactly what the russian servers do (with both the xeno and human blood), i am pretty sure there are no cartridges at all in their servers as to not make the server a complete hell hole. The other debris doesnt do much to lag though so its mostly left intact.

I once played as a nurse in a round and the other nurse wont stop sleeping, we talked to him about it and he said "fine I'll go sleep outside" we came with him telling him this was a stupid idea until he got jumped by a xeno and I never felt more like a side character in a horror movie

Beautiful video. God round 13 was a losing fight. I was also a Delta Rifleman running west to East with no clue where I was going. Ended up dying on the Almayer with everyone else during that disastrous retreat and redeployment.

Hello, CMP here from the rounds that were played, the xenos 100% had the advantage, but it was very fun to play and I cant wait for the next go at things. (Also XOs and COs need to stop going on planet and dying)

I was the final drone the only person that could become the queen... Who space lagged off the ship and ahelped to get teleported middle of nowhere near 2 marines and then slaughtered.... Otherwise i had a good time

This is ridiculous but I hope we got a true human only server in the future. I really don't know why they're allowing this. There is a lot of SS14 servers for this kind of stuff. But this is definitively not the spirit for CM...

@@mrcroa2564There's an explanation for this somewhere. Basically, the Corps and Nanotrasen made a deal of some kind, and the end result is soldiers can now be of pretty much any species, and on-universe, it's been this way for a "very long time", making it "normal" for the Corps.
Would I rather have everyone be human? I don't know, I'd say some of my favorite people to play with, play as Lizards, and while I never played RMC13, this does not detract from my experience.

Is this an actual server now if it is im switching from ss13 cm to this
CM14 had a playtest on June 9th, and the sever is offline for now. It works (didn't crash once during the 8 hour long playtest session with 250 players) but still has quite some major performance issues and bugs, and many features are not implemented yet, so better give it more time for now. Also the "server culture" or RP standard is not as high as CM13.

Furries? How does allowing fantasy species ruin anything? These have been rather common in videogames for a very long time.
Watching this as a CM13 player is... wild...
Looking forward to see where CM14 goes in the future though, potential for a lot of cool stuff once it gets ironed out and gets more SS14 specific features.
O have played some cm13/tgcm13 and my god, non-tile restricted movement makes it for a more enjoyable experience….
Here's hoping they will stay true to 13 and let only humies be played, cant imagine the pain for docs.

this is not a copy of Corvax CM, I will even say that Corvax took some elements from CM14 build, because CM14 is open source
