Just as a suggestion, i would maybe caption fictional sea monsters with the franchise they're associated with. For example, the "Reaper Leviathan (Subnautica)".
I had no idea angler fish could be up to 4ft. That is terrifying. Theres a lot here that made me realize just how monstrously large the actual fish can be.
It isnt, i dont know where these sizes come from, but most if the actual irl fish are WAAAAAY to big, anglerfish can be big, like 1,5 feet, but the one in the video is extremely exagerated
Theres a single fossil that we found in England a while ago that has the potential to dethrone the blue whale actually. Its an icthyosaur of some kind and Its size estimate for the longest time was to be around 30metres which would equal the blue whale in length but not in mass. Until a while back we found that it was most likely not fully grown, and current estimates show it could have been as long as 39metres and weighed around 20 tonnes more than a blue whale Fossil name is the aust Colossus
Thank you for sharing this incredible information. It's mind-blowing to think about the size and weight of the Aust Colossus compared to the blue whale.
Great models and a decent video. If I may make a couple of suggestions for future videos: 1) include a small amount of data regarding each specimen. If it’s historic, state which period or era of earth’s history is was from. If it’s fictional, name the franchise. If it’s extant, tell us where it’s found (ie - Pacific Ocean, etc) 2) render something with a consistent scale that follows the crawl through each specimen. An average height human walking along WITH the camera helps show just how big some of these things are. If the scale ramps up to a point where the human is no longer relevant, have a car or a bus that can act as a perspective aide. Good luck!
Your input is invaluable! I'm grateful for your detailed suggestions and will strive to enhance the viewing experience with the additional information and scale references you mentioned.

"I fear not the darkness, but rather that which hides within" -This is how I feel about the ocean. It can be majestic yet terrifying with all that can be found in there
In your video you forget a whale which was cause of itself and the Megladons extinction that is the Livyatan which also hunted the same food source and both would attack each other over food. The livyatan was also between 58-64 ft long the largest megladon known for collecting fossils to date was predicted to be 61 and half feet long! Livyatan needs to be in future lists as they were good at hunting and attacking Megs and an ancestors to the current sperm whale!
