I love the way you do your videos, we get to watch you shop, you pop up pics and comps and talk about the item when you're showing it. You find the most amazing pieces, too! Happy Holidays!
Another superb video! Great finds. My goodwill has been putting out some great items lately too. I found 2 pairs of Mother jeans last week and a bunch of NWT bread & butter stuff. I really like how well you identify the y2k/90s clothes. I struggle with that. I need to get better at learning that trend since it's selling so well. Your Christmas tree is very pretty. Happy Holidays !
I'm so happy to hear that you're finding great items too!! Good for you! I struggle with identifying certain styles too and having comparisons and pictures helped me so that's why I started doing it that way. So I'm happy that you're enjoying it. Thank you. My kids were in charge of decorating the tree this year. I think they did a really great job. 🌲🥰❤️
Another great video! I love the sourcing/what sold in the same video. I have been reselling for 10 years now, only on one platform, but just started selling on another one a couple weeks ago. I am doing a lot more clothes now, was doing about 50/50 clothes and hardgoods. It's great learning about new to me brands. Thank you for sharing and also, beautiful Christmas tree! :)
Thank you! I decided to throw in some what solds last minute while editing this video so I'm glad you enjoyed it. I think I'll do it next time too! That's awesome! Really happy to hear that adding in a new platform is working out for you! Thanks! My kiddos were in charge of decorating the tree this year and I thought they did a great job! ❤️🤗🌲

I'm impressed with how consistent your sales are, I keep checking back in to see how you do it! Would you be willing to share how you find when celebrities wore an item? I'm also trying to figure out finding out if an item was in a runway show (me and my Ralph Lauren obsession. : ) )
Hey! My sales will definitely fluctuate from time to time but they've been consistently lately. I think it helps that I've been consistent about getting my daily listings up. The way I've been able to find if a celebrity has worn an item or not is by using my Google lens. Hope that helps! ♥️🥰
@@ThriftandThriveMarita Thank you and good reinforcement on listing daily! I've been listing most days but am trying to get to 20 per day. I've been between 6 and 12. Google lens never shows me celebs wearing things! I'll keep trying. Be well and best wishes!
Thank you! I used to watch Hustle at Home Mom and Mcthriftzie but now I'm currently obsessed with watching videos on video editing and RUclips creating. ❤️
Hi Marita! Wow! Great finds....again...Should the solds be greater than the active listings or less than? When it comes to the sell through formula. Thanks.
Hey! Great question. So if you want 100% sell through rate the solds will be equal with the active listings. And then for over 100% sell-through rate the sold number will be greater than the number of active listings. Hope that helps. ❤️☺️
@ThriftandThriveMarita it absolutely does! Thanks! You seem to have lots of luck but actually it's a lot of hard work! People don't realize how much goes into it. Thanks for the prompt reply.
Of course! If you have any more questions down the road, feel free to ask. I'm always happy to help. You're so right! A lot of time and work does go into it. My videos are around 15 minutes long, but in reality I'm shopping for around 3-5 hours and then you have all the other tasks that go into reselling. ☺️
Hello, Thanks for answering my question. I love your videos and style. In this video i saw you found a Moschino shirt at a thrift store. I found one too awhile back but have hesitated to list it as i dont know if its authentic. I looked into authenticity guarantee with ebay but they only authenticate items listed $200 and up and moschino brand isn’t listed as a brand they authenticate. Do yoh have any advice for me? What did you do when listing your moschino? Thanks so much.
Hey! Thank you happy you're enjoying them! So with this I can just tell by how high quality the material and make of the skirt is. Also the label is tacked on, labels that are fake you can tell because they mass produced and they sew the labels on. Also the material label is very detailed and contains multiple slips of information. Fakes again don't take the time to create good quality tags and material labels. Hope that helps in any way. ♥️☺️
Thank you! I store all my items the same way including jackets. I fold and bag them in sealed clear bags and then inventory them in bins. But if you're limited on storage space, I could see even using your personal closet if that works. ❤️☺️
So happy you're enjoying them! The orange sweater is Saturday Sunday from Anthropologie and the one in the sit down portion is from Peruvian Connection. Thank you!! 🥰♥️
Hey! So in the beginning I used to budget myself to a weekly budget of $200. But now I just pick up any amount of items that I think I can get a good enough profit from. ♥️☺️
So if I could go back I wouldn't have done it the way I did. I went a little wild at Goodwill the very next day after I decided to resell and ended up spending almost $500 on a lot of not great items. But there were a few pieces that sold for a good amount of money and those gave me the confidence to continue. If I could go back I would source most of my items at the bins (if possible for you) that way you can grow and learn brands and factors that contribute to them selling faster or for more money. I would have also been diligent on checking comps and the sell through rate. The minimum profit margin after cost of goods and fees that I look for is $15 absolutely lowest is $10 and that's if it has over 100% sell-through rate because I know I will get my investment and profit back quickly. Sorry that was so long winded. Hope that helps ☺️♥️

Do you dry clean or launder the items before selling?
If I need to wash them I will but for the most part I steam treat all of the items to disinfect and that's it.
What state is your Goodwill at? The prices are cheap compared to my local Goodwill here in California. The shoes at Salvation Army here are 15.99 🙁
